• Frognerseteren - Begin your journey in the vibrant city of Oslo, where the guide will greet you at the When in Norway tour center. From there, enjoy a scenic metro ride through picturesque neighborhoods to reach Frognerseteren Station, situated 500 meters above the fjord.
• Ovresetertjern Lake - After taking in the breathtaking view of the city lights below, embark on your adventure into the night! A short walk leads to the frozen Øvresetertjern Lake, where a cozy Norwegian-style campfire awaits.

Gather around the fire to savor hot drinks, engaging conversation, roasted marshmallows, and watch the flames flicker against the snow and ice, experiencing what Scandinavians call “hygge.”

• Nordmarka - Following the campfire, each participant receives a hand-held flame torch. After a brief safety briefing, venture into the winter wilderness. The forest comes alive under the glow of the torches as you stroll through the snowy landscape. The snow glistens like freshly cut gems, and the moonlight dances on the trees, while the warm torchlight adds a magical ambiance. Along the way, the guide shares stories and fascinating facts about the area, with ample opportunities to pause and capture the surrounding beauty.

The walk lasts approximately 45 minutes and concludes at the metro, returning you to civilization. Join us for this enchanting experience!

Safety is always a priority on our tours. During this tour, we navigate the forest with live fire. If the guide determines that conditions or weather compromise safety, torches will not be used. We will still explore the forest and conclude with a campfire.
