Our adventure began in Osh, where we met our driver, Sadyk. His reputation preceded him, and he lived up to every expectation. One of the unexpected joys of the trip was our detour to Bagu Village. Originally, we planned to visit Jizeu Village, but a landslide had other plans. Instead, we found ourselves in Bagu, where we played football with local kids, a spontaneous moment that captured the spirit of travel. On our final day, we faced a challenge familiar to travelers: finding food during a holiday. With all restaurants closed for Eid, Sadyk’s resourcefulness shone through. He introduced us to a local family who welcomed us into their home for a meal. Sharing in their Eid celebration was a heartwarming experience, a reminder of the universal language of hospitality.
