Insightful, laidback tour to ease into Osaka (like a local)! - I booked this tour for our 1st day in Osaka, because I wanted to be able to get our bearings in a new city and ask a local guide for help to figure out how to navigate ourselves for the rest of our trip. Hugo was extremely kind and generous with his knowledge and flexibly tailored our tour to meet our needs (I asked in advance if it was possible to seek Hugo’s guidance with some key things), while still touring us through Osaka’s main attractions. Hugo’s thoughtful and laid back approach to his tours, was a great way to ease into Osaka life (like a local!) Thanks for a great day Hugo!

Osaka avec Hugo - Hugo is above all very friendly and knows the city very well. He knew how to take us to tourist places and make us discover small pearls hidden everywhere. I repeat: he knows the city very well! Merci Hugo!

Excellent way to get to know Osaka - It is a walking tour, transportation between places to visit can be by taxi or public transportation (cost not included).
Hugo was and incredibly kind and knowlegable guide. We visited the castle and a couple of the most iconic neighborhoods (4 hr tour). We had a very good insight of local life in Osaka. Completely worthy.

The best of Osaka in 4 hours with Hugo - We met our guide, Hugo, in front of the hotel. As it was our first day in Japan, he helped us and explained how the IC card works to travel by train and to pay for other things. We traveled by Metro to visit Osaka Castle and walk the streets of Osaka. We stopped for some kushikatsu at Kushikatsu Daruma, and learned from Hugo the story about the angry mascot outside the restaurant. I wish we had more time to visit more places in Osaka and learn more from Hugo.

Awesome! - Awesome experience! Took us all over and helped us navigate trains. The tour had a great pace and he was very informative. Wish we had more time in the end!

Hugo did a great job... - Hugo did a great job tailoring the tour for our mixed group including seniors and kids! We fit a lot into 4 hours but it wasn't frantic. Enjoyed meeting him and seeing more of Osaka!

Incredible tour! - We had an incredible day exploring Osaka with our guide, Hugo! From the moment we met, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel easy and fun. He brought the rich history of Osaka Castle to life with interesting facts and stories we wouldn’t have known otherwise. Hugo also guided us through the colorful Shinsekai district, pointing out hidden gems and local favorites we would’ve missed on our own. His passion for the city really shines, and he made sure the tour was tailored to our interests. Highly recommend Hugo if you want a memorable and personal experience in Osaka!

A great visit, complete and unusual! - We traveled with family (10 people, with a young child), and Hugo was able to adapt perfectly to our group in terms of organization, it was great! Osaka Castle, small hidden alleys, very good restaurant addresses, karaoke tour but also days outside the city, in Kyoto and Nara in particular... Every day of the visit allowed us to discover the city's must-sees and surroundings, but also the most secret corners, and to know more about history and Japan and the local and unusual anecdotes Hugo has the art of telling!
In short we had an exciting stay and we loved our guide! To do again if we return, without hesitation!
