The outer temple grounds are free to enter, but there is a fee for the inner precinct, Gokuraku-jodo Garden, and the treasure house. The inner precinct’s pebble-covered courtyard features a five-storied pagoda and the Main Hall (Kondo), where Prince Shotoku is enshrined as a statue of Kannon.
