During this session, a tea ceremony expert will introduce this traditional Japanese art and guide participants in tea preparation. Attendees will then have the chance to prepare the tea themselves. This experience includes matcha tea and the accompanying Japanese sweets.
Following this, participants will create a matcha tea bowl with Anna, a ceramist trained in pottery in Osaka. The bowl will be formed and decorated using traditional Japanese pottery methods.
This dual workshop takes place in our studio, a historic two-story building situated in the Ikuno Ward. This area is a local gem in Osaka, making it a fascinating and enjoyable place to explore after the experience.
