Super fun and delicious experience!! Mecha Oishi - Today we did the okonomiyaki making class with Keiko and made some delicious okonomiyaki!!
We had some great conversations about Osaka and the Osaka dialect, as well as learning about the different kinds of okonomiyaki and how to make them your own. Since we are from Australia, we also taught them about some Australian slang.
We had a great time and would highly recommend this experience to anyone!!! If you are thinking about booking, just book! You will have no regrets.

Very wholesome cooking experience - It was a wonderful evening in Osaka, we had just arrived from a busy Tokyo, in need for some calm action. It was a great exchange of knowledge, we got taught how to make a lovely okonomiyaki by our lovely Osaka ladies and they got to to practice their English. Would recommend even to my enemies.

An essential Osaka experience - An essential family experience to learn about the culture of local Osaka people. Keiko-san was a wonderfully patient host, who guided us through the process of making Osaka-style okonomiyaki. I will definitely be trying to make it at home. She was very flexible with dietary requirements. Perhaps the most enjoyable part of the experience was meeting some other local Osaka people who were wanting to practice their English, while we fumbled in Japanese. I highly recommend this experience for any food lovers.

Fantastic Experience - We had such a brilliant time learning to cook okonomiyaki with Keiko and her friends. We were treated with warmth and kindness, and really appreciated the opportunity to practice our Japanese alongside our cooking skills. We couldn't recommend this experience enough if you are looking for an authentic, friendly cooking class.

Good fun in a relaxed, warm and friendly setting - It's not just cooking but fun talking to Keiko, and interacting with Sachiko. I love the fact that it's a language centre as well - great opportunities to learn from locals and share overseas experiences. Relaxed atmosphere and we really enjoyed cooking class! If you love these Kimono aprons don't forget to ask & buy one - they focus on the class and communication, but there are souvenirs you can purchase here!

Okonomiyaki class - Fantastic cooking class with Keiko and her mum! They were so lovely, and generous with their expertise and insights. This was a perfect rainy day activity and we look forward to cooking okonomiyaki at home.

One of the coolest things... - One of the coolest things you can do in a new country is learn how to cook their well-known dishes. This was such a cool experience as I learned the history of okonomiyaki and the cool variations that different cities have for this fun dish.

A delightful, friendly,... - A delightful, friendly, well organised cultural experience - a highlight of our trip to Osaka. Keiko and her mother were very welcoming, cooking was fun and the food was delicious. Loved the aprons made from kimono material. Highly recommend.

Do not pass up this... - Do not pass up this class!!! Keiko & her mother were amazing teachers. Most importantly they were so personable; Just beautiful people. And the okonomiyaki we made were incredible!!

Yummy! - We had such a nice afternoon! Keiko and her mom were so sweet and welcoming. They showed us how to make Okonomiyaki and Miso soup and answered all our questions. They were also interested in our culture and what local ingredients we will use for our Okonomiyaki at home. The food was delicious and we felt very "at home" thanks to them. Keikos mom even gave us handmade gifts. If you like Okonomiyaki and Miso soup, we definitely recommend taking lessons from Keiko. :)
