Upon checking in at the reception and purchasing a drink from the store, attendees can begin participating in the event. Each person is provided with a seat and topic cards to facilitate smooth conversations.
About this event:
・Utilize topic cards to enjoy engaging chats.
・Our staff organizes attendees into small groups (3-4 people per group, with a mix of Japanese and international participants).
・Staff will rotate seats to ensure everyone has the opportunity to converse with others more than 2-3 times.
・The schedule includes 15 minutes of English conversation followed by 15 minutes of Japanese conversation, alternating throughout the event.

When you change seats, you have the opportunity to meet 4 to 5 different individuals, including both local Japanese residents and foreigners living in Japan. Gather local insights from across Japan to enhance your travel experience and ensure a smooth journey. Additionally, you can make friends with local Japanese people and exchange contact details at events. Participating in a language exchange event will be a memorable highlight of your trip to Japan.
The attendees are very welcoming Japanese locals. As a result, many participants form groups with others who share similar interests and sometimes even go out for drinks together after the event.
There’s no pressure to become fluent in Japanese through the event. It would be wonderful if you could pick up some useful Japanese phrases and try them out with Japanese people during your travels. Alternatively, you can use this as a chance to practice the Japanese you’ve already learned.
