In the Karahori area, you’ll find many hidden gems, such as mazes and numerous Machiya, which are traditional merchant houses. Along these less-traveled paths, remnants of the 15th-century Osaka Castle can be discovered.
The highlight of this tour is exploring off-the-beaten-path locations not featured in guidebooks, perfect for capturing photogenic moments. We will visit hidden shops, including select shops and cafés tucked away in alleys, offering unique shopping opportunities beyond typical souvenir stores. As we stroll through the local market street, you’ll get a glimpse of everyday local life. Additionally, we will visit a Tatami mat shop, where you can learn about the traditional Japanese floor mat-making process.
