A great tour to Nara is totally worth it. - Our Fumiko guide was excellent!! The amazing attention, willingness and kindness.
The tour to NARA is obligatory when visiting Japan. It is a beautiful place and the sanctuaries are spectacular.
It totally exceeded our expectations.
Grateful and highly recommended.

Nara day trip - We did a 9 hour Nara day trip with Fumiko on 4/9. She was great-- we switched hotels and she was flexible in picking us up at our new hotel lobby. She was knowledgeable about the sites visited, navigated the train system for us, and was patient with our souvenir shopping and perusing during the entire day. We had a great time and I would highly recommend. We saw the Nara deer, Todai-iji temple, did some shopping in downtown Nara, and a sake tasting. She was great at personalizing our itinerary to our desired activities.

Nara with a great guide. - Maria was sooo attentive and a great guide. We had many laughs and great little hidden spots to see and food stops to taste. Highly recommended.

Nara day trip from Osaka - Despite a non-stop tour schedule and almost no sleep, Hiroki was wonderful and we enjoyed the sights around Nara, particularly the "Giant Buddha" temple, Nara deer park, and the (exhausting) climb and views from Mount Wakakusayama. It was a jam-packed day but highly enjoyable!

Great Day in Nara with Buddha and the deer - We had a great day traveling to and exploring Nara with Alex as our guide. He was knowledgable about the included sights and also the entire surrounding area. Information was explained in a fun and conversational style which added to our learning. The Todaiji-Temple was one of the most impressive sites we visited on our trip.
Alex listened to our interest in gardens and flexed so that we could also visit a special garden not on the official tour route. He was always sensitive to our comfort and timed when to stop and eat.
Finally, he met us at our hotel to start the day and brought us back at day's end, something many other guides in the area did not offer. Alex even helped us with the arrangements for our next day's sightseeing plans. All in all, we had a great day with an experienced and lovely guide. Thank you, Alex!

Alex is the beat tour guide - Alex was the best tour guide! He managed our time so we could see everything on our list. He was super helpful in providing recommendations of things to do for the rest of our trip as well. We would definitely want to have another tour with him!

Nara tour - We had a marvellous day in Nara, going around and seeing all the sights and also the deers. Picture perfect. We are also grateful and thankful for our guide Marcelo for an amazing tour.

Wonderful trip to Nara with Miki - Our guide Miki was wonderful! She took us through a number of sites, explaining cultural and historical significance of each site. She reached out well in advance of our tour to confirm if we had any dietary restrictions (which we did), our budget for lunch, and our desired method of travel. Once everything was arranged, she met us promptly at the meeting time and patiently guided us through the rail system until we arrived in Nara. Once we arrived, she had arranged for two taxis to take us to the Ryoukan where we ate lunch. The scenery was picturesque and the food was delicious as well! She navigated us through the must-sees of Nara, including the Todaiji Temple, Nara Deer Park, and the Kasuga Shrine with ease. She engaged with our children to make sure they had a great time as well.

Terrible trip - Do not take this trip with this tour operator it was a waste of money and we learnt nothing from our guide. While the guide seemed a nice person the only thing, she really taught us was her name. She did not seem to know anything about any of the sights or the correct way to get there. We paid a lot of money just to take a train and bus and learn nothing. Basically, we paid hundreds of dollars to take a free bus and get into a temple, in hindsight we could have done this our self. Even though we knew lunch was not included what we did not expect is we had to also buy the guide lunch, so we really got nothing from it only spend more. We could have done all this by ourselves for cheaper.
