Foodie heaven - The tour was fabulous, a real foodie heaven. We got a great insight into the many tasty offerings at the market and will now be able to return there with confidence. We tasted amazing tuna, fish cakes, eel, pickles, rice and so much more. We felt it was great value and our guide Higuri (?) was very entertaining and informative.

Great Opportunity to Try Fantastic Eats! - Michael was a great guide who helped us not only try some great seafood, but also meet the vendors. We learned about what we were trying and how it is brought to be. My most memorable food rhat I sampled was the Otoro Tuna which is so buttery smooth. Simply the best.

Fun afternoon at Kuromon Market! - Had a fun afternoon in Osaka at the Kuromon Markets Tour! Good value for money, small group, knowledgeable guide who took us to some amazing stalls, and clear communication about meeting point etc. the day before. Would definitely recommend for foodies who want to try something new!

Hit the spot! - We had a great tour with Michael with lots of delicious food. Our tour was on a holiday during golden week, which meant there were a few shops that were either closed or closed early. Luckily, Michael pushed us along quickly to get us where we needed to go. Michael did a great job of showing us around, explaining the complexity of the Japanese language, and sharing some of the interesting folklore of the market. My only minor complaint is that Michael talked a bit fast, which made it hard to retain a lot of the information he shared. Still, it was a great tour!

Brilliant - must-do in Osaka - Incredible! Taka was such an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. I was amazed at how many places we visited within the market, trying a huge range of delicious seafood and other treats. Taka was accomodating for allergies and gave us advice for how to manage this in Japan. We arrived hungry but left absolutely stuffed. Couldn't recommend more! Okini, Taka!

The best market tour in Japan - I highly recommend this market tour. We did around 4 similar tours while in Japan (including the Tsukiji in Tokyo), and this by far was the best experience, most informative, and overall best deal. Anna was an excellent guide and provided loads of information and delicious bites of food for us to try. I really appreciated that she discussed the significance of each of the different dishes and gave us pointers on how to identify high quality and authentic products on our own. I also loved that she had relationships with all of the vendors we were visiting and the tour focused on the mom-and-pop stalls within the market. There was more than enough food for the people on our tour and we left completely full, so I would recommend eating sparingly (if at all) prior.
