Meet the Pirate and take the tour, it's a must! - This tour was definitely a top experience in our Greece trip. My family and I took this trip as a recommendation from a coworker. The stories/history on the tour were intriguing and entertaining. Dinner was caught as we were touring around the islands and the meal was delicious. Captain Mikas and Ilias were amazing hosts, from tour, to stories, to dinner and instagram worthy pics! Take this tour, you will not regret it

Last Minute Plans on Santorini - Our five hour day trip with Capt. Makis was the highlight of our Greek island-hopping campaign. Capt. Makis and 1st Mate IIlis were both wonderful company, communicate effectively (they both speak great English), and their hospitality was world-class.
I’ve been fishing since I was a child and have done charters all over the world.
Pirate Fishing Charters is as fine an outfit as you could hope to find, and this service is ideal for couples, families, kids (over age 5), or a boys trip!

Private fishing sunset cruise - This experience was just excellent. My husband and I had a wonderful time with Mikas we had our own guided tour, caught fish and had a stunning bbq.
I read an article in the telegraph newspaper about Mikas and the trips he offered and booked our sunset fishing cruise straight away.
I’m so very happy I did and would highly recommend this wonderful experience.

Greatest fishing experience - If you are in Santorini this is a must tour. The captain is a local legend and his first mate has so much knowledge of the area and the history. This is not just a fishing trip but and experience filled with true stories of the captains 30 years on the water

Amazing experience! - I can’t recommend this enough - Captain Makis and his helper Elias hosted a great tour. We went for a sunset tour in the early season, so we didn’t do any snorkeling or swimming, which was good for us because we were there for the fishing and tour! Captain Makis took us trolling around the caldera, and Elias told us all about the history of the various islands, the eruptions that formed them, the people, and so much more! Toward the end, they cooked up the fresh fish and made a fantastic dinner. After dinner, we trolled a bit more and learned even more about the captain. We stopped outside Ammoudi to watch the sunset from the bay, then headed in. Overall, we loved the experience and would recommend it to anyone!

Memories to last a Lifetime - This was truly an amazing experience. As a fisherman, I got to reel in dinner while my wife and daughter were very happy just being out on the water on one of the cleanest and most well maintained boats that we have ever stepped aboard. Captain Makris and Elias made sure we were all entertained and felt comfortable. Their historical knowledge, culinary skills, and ability to put a catch on the boat is unparalleled. This is a true Aegean experience and worth every penny. This was by far one of the best tours we have ever taken.

The best boating experience in Santorini - Wow!!!!! What an experience. Mikas and Ilias were absolutely amazing. So knowledgeable and friendly. The food they made was fantastic. Everyone needs to do a tour with them while in Santorini versus being on a crowded catamaran.

Amazing Honeymoon Fishing Trip, Snorkeling, and Sightseeing! - My wife and i had the most amazing trip with Mikas, his daughter, and Ilias! They were insanely knowledgeable about the local area, provided great sight seeing and navigation of the waters, and treated us to one of our favorite meals with a fresh fish we caught on the tour, fresh greek salad and homemade Tomatokeftedes. The snorkeling and pictures they took of us were fantastic and this was definitely a highlight of our honeymoon! For anyone looking for an amazing locals touch and a more action packed adventure than a sunset cruise, I'd highly recommend!

Unforgettable Fishing Trip with Pirate Captain Makis! - Our fishing trip in Santorini with Pirate Captain Makis and first mate Elias was one of the absolute highlights of our entire vacation! From the moment we stepped on board, Captain Makis made us feel welcome, safe, and ready for an adventure. They are genuinely nice guys—equal parts knowledgeable fisherman and entertaining “pirate”—and kept the experience relaxed, enjoyable, and full of laughs.
The fishing itself was incredible, but what made the trip truly special was the amazing meal he prepared right on the boat. He cooked the fish my husband caught along with some homemade tomato fritters, and it was honestly one of the best meals we had in Greece. Simple, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Eating a meal you just caught, overlooking the caldera, felt unforgettable.
Captain Makis’ passion for the sea, storytelling, and hospitality shines through every moment of the tour. Whether you’re an experienced angler or trying fishing for the first time, you’ll feel completely taken care of. We left with great memories, beautiful photos, and full hearts.
We can’t recommend this experience highly enough. If you’re visiting Santorini, don’t miss a day out on the water with Pirate Captain Mikos—it was pure magic!
