Genevieve was so gracious and informative for our family's first kayaking trip. She provided water for us and water squirters for the kids. It was a wonderful experience for our almost 5 yr old daughter, 8 yr old son, my husband & myself. We will definitely do a tour again with Genevieve if we are fortunate enough to visit Cocoa Beach in the future.
The kids really enjoyed the Kayaking tour, would definately recommend it. We plan on doing this adventure again in the near future.
The whole experience was great. Genevieve was awesome, she was professional and knowledgeable. I loved that glow sticks and dry boxes were provided. The equipment provided was new and great. It was fun kayaking past bird island and looking for manatees and fish. The bioluminescence was beautiful, it was like sparkly diamonds in the water. I can't wait to take another tour, I will be recommending this company to everyone! Thank you again!
Great tour, Dale was very friendly and informative and we all had fun and learnt a lot. All 4 of us had a great time.
This kayak trip was a blast
Genevieve was a wonderful guide! She was informative & really helped make this tour one to remember! I would highly recommend the bioluminescence tour!!! A once in a lifetime, never to be forgotten, excursion!
Loved Genevieve as our guide. Just wish we were able to get a family pic in kayaks before it got too dark. Can't see any if us. The bioluminescence was amazing, especially with All the jumping and dashing fish. Would definitely do it again.
This was an awesome experience. The people couldn't have been nicer and the water lighting up is incredible. This trip with this company is a must do!!
It was a magical evening! We can't wait to go on the Jellyfish Bioluminescence tour in November!
The Guide was very pleasant and informative. She provided everything that was needed for our trip. All her knowledge made the trip interesting and fun.
They e-mailed my confirmation and directions while I was still on the phone with them, and were readily available by phone to answer questions (and help with more driving direvtions) when I called. They brought everything we could need or want; provided good, fun safety and kayaking instruction; and provided a better tour than I literally ever imagined. The most highly rated kayaking your company said they couldn't take us on the day I needed, but they referred us to Cocoa Kayaking. They created a perfect trip for me (an experienced kayaker) and my friends (some of whom has never even been in a boat) and three kids (10, 12 boys; and a 14 girl). Calling these folks belongs in your bucket list...really!
Cocoa kayaking is always friendly and keeps smaller groups to preserve the integrity of the experience. They are also the best value in town. The owner and guides are fully invested in ensuring you have a great and memorable experience.
Through no fault of the company, the bioluminescence was only so-so the night we went. There were only a few fish out, so we could mostly only see the glowing with our paddle and when we stopped once and put our hands in the water. Also, the tour is advertised as 2 hours, but we were back in our van and headed home after 1 1/2 hours. Maybe that's because there wasn't much to see, but we paid for 2 hours and would have liked to have kayaked more to get our money's worth.
This was an amazing experience. Very professional and organized tour. Would definitely recommend you use Cocoa Kayaking for your tours
I have never kayaked before and the instructor was very helpful and guided me through the entire tour. The bioluminescence is something so amazing you can't explain in words. It was an absolutely great addition to my trip.
Very please with the tour. We will recommend to others and plan to use the service again in the future
We have taken two trips with Cocoa Kayaking. Genevieve is so knowledgeable, giving us interesting information about the area as we paddle along. On the bioluminescence trip it felt like paddling through fairy dust. She is prepared with everything we need, for example, drinks, sunscreen, and bug repellent. I would definitely choose Cocoa Kayaking again.
We spent 2 nights out with Cocoa Kayaking and it was amazing both nights. On 7/21 I brought our homeschool group of teens, called the Aquanauts and on 7/22 was an adult only trip with my group CFK Kayakers. Genevieve , Philip and her other guides changed the pace and distance of the tours to meet the very different group needs. One tour left at sunset, which allowed the group to see dolphins and even a manatee with a breath-taking sunset. On the next night we were trying to a
It couldn't have been a more perfect tour. The staff did a great job. We really enjoyed going through the mangroves. The highlight was of course the great bioluminescence. Watching all of the fish swimming was so amazing. We will be back.
The bio luminescence tour we have done at the banana river, cocoa beach was exhilarating..It was an awesome experience for both me and my spouse. The kayaking was in itself a great experience and the much added ado came in when we have seen the glowing fish and water as we kayaked in a little further. It was as if we were in a dreamy place. The guide was very accommodative and supportive through the tour. she was very amicable and friendly. Overall it was a must-do acitivity for anyone visiting KSC-NASA or Cocoa beach
This tour was simply amazing! Great for beginners and all levels of Kayakers. The staff at Cocoa Kayaking is helpful and knowledgeable and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun, learning experience.
This was our second time heading out with Cocoa Kayaking. The first time was just my wife and I, and the second time we took the whole family (7-kids)! We had a blast! Genevieve knows how to get the kids involved, and she had some wonderful treats for them as well!!!
It was an unbelievable experience! It was even better than we remembered! The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly.
Incredible experience with an outstanding kayaking outfit! They thought of everything from providing water bottles to glow sticks to bug spray! Well done!
If I had not experienced the Bioluminescence Tour I would not have believed the description of "what happens!!" The biological wonder that I witnessed is an experience my son and I will never forget. Genevive is familiar with the "active" spots and was an excellent guide. She was able to provide answers to our questions (we had many) and she was also easy to find in the dark! Attempting to find our meeting spot in the dark & in a state which was unfamiliar to me was easy. Thanks, Genevive for leaving the lantern on the jeep and catering a tour for us!!!
Cameron was a great guide. Once he figured the glow was blue and not green we were good to go. The blue glow is very rare and it was very cool to see!!!
