Genevieve was super friendly, knowledgeable, and solicitous. The kayaks and equipment (dry bags, small fish nets, life jackets with lights and emergency gear) were all in great condition, and our guide was ready and waiting for us when we got there. She clearly knew the lagoon as well as the critters who live there, and she made sure everyone had the opportunity to participate fully.

We had searched for something to do with our son, who is 13. When our tour was over, he told us that it was the most amazing thing he has ever experienced. Our guide was amazing. This made our vacaation complete, this should be a must do for anyone who visits Cocoa Beach.

I seen nothing but the bioluminescent that the tour offered. I got the combo tour, which was to see dolphins, manatees, the sunset then the bioluminescent waters. We only seen the bioluminescent waters none of the others. No dolphins, no manatees and we kayaked away from the sun so we seen no sunset. Our tour guide then told us maybe we should have gotten a different tour then.

I was excited to see and hear about the bioluminescence in the water during "peak season". I was told that it would be the perfect night to see it because of the full moon. Not only did we not see any significant bioluminescence but we learned nothing about it. Unless you were directly behind Genevieve or her brother, you were literally in the dark and heard nothing. I spent a lot of money that evening to basically go kayaking in the dark on our own. It was a disappointment. I was hoping to learn a little about the ecosystems and marine life in the islands, so that I could share with my elementary class in the fall.
I suggest you go during the day, at least you could see plant life and animals. We heard sleeping birds and that's about it. It was a "let down".
