Buy tickets in UK - Buy your tickets whilst in Uk it is cheaper. We bought 14 day tickets for all universal and Disney parks, inc water parks and visited all. Universal where more modern but Disney has magic, especially for younger children and nostalgics, Some of the new rides, Hagrids, Gringots, Avatar and the Rollercoasters are fantastic and take ride experiences to a new level and I'm a 72 year old Grandad!

misleadingdining dollars.com promo with Universal Studios - My family frequently visits Orlando, and we go back-and-forth between Disney and universal. Now that my kids are older they prefer universal and I do too. So we purchased tickets through Sam’s Club and got a little bit of a savings along with the dining dollars.com pretend discount. I say pretend because you cannot use the dining dollars at Universal Studios. I am not sure who to blame for this Sam’s Club or universal but either way it’s very misleading and disappointing when you spend hours setting up the account and trying to figure out where you can actually use the dining dollars. Not fun. Let’s put a damper on the experience but overall my kids still had fun. I just want to know everything upfront if I’m buying food for the day, I can budget for that but if I’m told I have $80 voucher for food I expect to save that $80. Don’t fall for the food voucher misleading promo that’s my lesson learned.

Ultimately, it was fine. - Universal theme parks- prepare to stand and walk A loT. Islands of adventure is the better park. I would have saved money and just done that. There actually aren't that many rides here. More of them are experiences and if you like 3D/4D stuff. I don't. Velocicoaster can't be missed. It's epic. Hagrids ride was closed, that was so disappointing. The theming in the park is excellent though. I just wish it wasn't so expensive. Not a great value imo.

Disappointed - Food was great, park was very clean. Got bored though, the shopping is mainly what I saw in the two parks. Yea thrill rides but most are not handicap friendly. In two parks was only able to access 3 rides. And I am somewhat mobile like they required. Also the Harry Potter rides are not accessible for anyone with a 44 size waist. Best ride I accessed was Spiderman, what a great ride. Diagon Ally and Hogsmead were all shopping. Nothing really exciting. Going to Disney at the end of the week and forget the universal experience.

Not Eager to Return - I want to like Universal, but I do not see the value for the money. With the exception of Stardust Racers, the rides at Epic are not impressive. The staff at both Epic and Universal/Islands of Adventure are generally rude and impose random rules everywhere you turn. I will spend my money elsewhere.

Don't go, worst park experience - Bad experience, do not waste your time in the parks of the universal, queues with more than 3 hours, only those who buy express pass is served, go to the diney to be well served and have a good experience. Universal park Never again

Military Beware - Military Freedom Pass is a rip-off. Universal is taking advantage of Military families by overcharging for tickets and then they call it a freedom pass. If I would have bought tickets online and not thru Military, I would have gotten a better deal. My husband fought for this country's freedom and Universal has the guts to call it a freedom pass. In addition, most employees are so unfriendly and absolutely not accommodating. We bought a 2 park pass only to find out, in the fine print, that it was not a 2 day park. Disney is charging half of ticket value for Military. They know how to honor the sacrifice of our Military.

SUPERSTAR SHUTTLE RUINED OUR VACATION. ALMOST MISSED FLIGHT HOME WITH NO REFUND - DO NOT TAKE THE SUPER STAR SHUTTLE SERVICE for UNIVERSAL. I have emails/ text and a physical card that our pick up time from cabana bay was 2:15 pm to take us to the air port. They didnt send us a cab until ONE HR LATER. after sitting on the phone with the nastiest workers at the shuttle NO REFUND. First lady said our shuttle was 2:45, than manager said it was 1:45 but our emails and text were confirmed 2:15! They wasted an hour trying to convince us that their records were correct and they have NO IDEA WHO SENT US TEXT OR EMAILS THAT HAVE THEIR EMAIL ADDRESS ATTACHED TO IT. The manager HUNG the phone up on us while i was asking what happened when we miss our flight? And i was asking for a full refund. Totally left a terrible last impression of universal. Shout out to the bell hop at cabana bay (his name was Orlando) he was going above and beyond to help us! Thank you! I have tried to reach out to speak to someone and no one answers. Unacceptable. Unfortunate.
