Oradea is beautifully set amidst hills which both separate and tie together the Crisana Plains and the base of the Apuseni Mountains, in a seamless blend. Oradea sits on the Crisul Repede River, splitting the city nearly perfectly in two and creating a pathway to the heart of Central and Western Europe. Situated around 10 km from Bors, the largest border crossing on the western boundary, Oradea is the tenth largest among the cities of Romania.
