Excellent guide! Friendly... Humorous...
Our guide Todd was very knowledgeable and entertaining. It was a nice introduction to the city and its history.
The guide was very informative but talked really fast. He also talked about the south as if we had lived there all our lives. To someone from California who isn't that knowledgable about the South, a few things went over our heads. But all in all, a good experience, and would recommend to someone wanting to get a snapshot of beautiful Charleston.
The tour guide was excellent. He was well informed and very friendly. It really was a worthwhile experience.
It was fun riding in the carriage and Lindsey was very informative!! However, we liked the van tour of Charleston better.....more place and more information for a cheaper price.
Enjoyed our guide,Patrick, very much. We were a little disappointed in our route.
Courteous and informative.
Our tour guide Todd was amazing! We had never been to Charleston before and he gave us such a wonderful educational yet funny experience. This is definetly worth doing!
Our driver David was personable and well versed in the history of Charleston (he has history degree). We thoroughly enjoyed the back stories of Charleston but the back story of Jackson, the horse pulling our carriage. A great tour.
I have taken other carriage tours that take a more interesting route. Despite this, the driver/guide was great. I understand that the route is a lottery and it is not possible to select this in advance.
I had to move our reserved time back twice due to the busy spring break weekend and the trouble finding parking. This company was very understanding and accommodating. I was very pleased!
Todd was 110% A Fantastic guide.
WE had a woman on her phone for the first 10 minutes of the trip. We would’ve appreciated her being asked to hang up as we couldn’t hear the guide and it was distracting.
The tour guide was great and it was fun to see the city in a carriage. We laughed and learned a lot! I might suggest making it easier to find where to check in and board the carriage. It was kind of tough to find even using google maps.
The tour was very enjoyable, especially since it was raining and a good way to see some of the city without getting soaked. We were slightly disappointed with the little history that was shared during the tour. There was some good information on the architectural eras, and we loved seeing so many beautiful houses. I would have liked a more comprehensive history of Charleston, with some interesting stories of people in Charleston’s history, but that is probably just a preference. Also, I would have enjoyed more enthusiastic tour guide.
Our driver was very informative as well as entertaining
Ginger did a great job. She is extremely knowledgeable
Very informative. Our guide was excellent and knowledge.
The driver was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of information.

Took 2 rises... second tour guide was difficult to understand
Great guide, carriage was comfortable, my only comment is that is was a little difficult to find the starting point of the tour with all the other carriage companies around, a sign might be helpful! Overall, great experience!
The driver was amazing and very knowledgeable! The best part of our trip, thank you again!
Tour guides very knowledgeable, personable and willing to answer questions. Sometimes hard to follow, as the history went back and forth in time. Overall a good experience!
Ginger (and Magic) were excellent. Very knowledgable and provided lots of fun facts. Our route was not great however, I think it was 5. I would have preferred a more historic section. We drove along King street and saw Gucci shops.
Knowledgeable driver and great tour.
While the driver was friendly, he was not as informative and knowledgeable as other drivers we have had both in Charleston and other cities such as Beaufort, Savannah, Nee Orleans. He seemed like he was just going through the motions.
Everyone with this company was very helpful, and the tour guide was excellent
Guide was great, It would have been nice with fewer riders.
I would have liked a choice of places to see on the tour.
Was not able to get a table by the band.
Good tour. Explain random tour "bingo ball selection" upfront.
Our tour actually started a few minutes early once everyone scheduled had arrived. Our driver was very knowledgeable and personable. I do wish we had gotten a different route, but that was just the luck of the draw with what route we were assigned by the city.
I wasn't interested in the University but that's where we ended up spending a lot of our time due to our place in the "lottery". Didn't feel we got a good view of the city. Tour guide was great though!
My 12 year old got off the carriage and said "Mom I really loved that tour !! ". Moms never hear that ! Wow
