- Milia Medieval Bridge - Nestled between the villages of Platres and Pera Pedi in Limassol, this bridge dates back to the Middle Ages. It historically served as a connection between the two villages and still spans the “Cold” river today. The area is serene, with the only sounds being the chirping of birds and the gentle flow of the river.

Embark on a circular journey through some of the area’s most picturesque villages and attractions. The route offers rapid changes in terrain and scenery over relatively short distances, providing a comprehensive view of the region located northwest of Limassol, extending across the southern slopes of Mount Troodos. The transformation in landscape and environment over the 9km stretch to Platres is truly remarkable! From there, a 5km downhill trail will lead to the village of Pera Pedi. A brief 1km detour will take us to the Milomeris Waterfall and the Milia Medieval Bridge. At an elevation of 800 meters, we will pass by the Pera Pedi Dam, nestled within the lush pine forests of the mountains. Pera Pedi is enveloped in greenery and boasts one of the island’s most delightful and healthy climates! Enjoy the village’s refreshing atmosphere in the main square, “Stathmos,” before embarking on the final 10km leg of our tour back to Omodos.
