Depart Muscat on the way, we make a short photo stop to little village of Fanja, before we continue our journey to Wadi Bani Khalid. This is one of the biggest and most beautiful wadis that Oman is famous for. The wadi canyon is impressive with its amazing steep walls and breathtaking crystal-clear water pools it is awesome to look at on its own can you also enjoy a swim in the relaxing cool freshwater pool or just sunbathe you also can have lunch there in local Omani restaurant.
In the afternoon, we head up to famous Wahiba Sands Desert, where you drive off road and see stretches after stretches of pure sand and endless towering sand dunes. Here you will get to appreciate and experience the real feel and magic of the Omani desert. We have the chance to visit a traditional Bedouin house where we can try Omani coffee and dates also you can ride Camel and drive to the dunes and take lots of photos. after we drive back to Muscat.

Stunning Sunset and Sand Dunes with Sunshine Tours - Wonderful day exploring Wadi Bani Khalid, the Wahiba Sand Desert and meeting some camels in Oman! Thank you to our absolutely fantastic guide Said Al kiyumi for his incredible hospitality, wealth of knowledge, and going the extra mile for my mother and my adventure into the desert.
We cannot thank Said enough for paying extra attention and making sure my mum was safe and comfortable when navigating the unsteady steps at the Wadi and when trekking across the sand dunes. He also brought us to the company’s favorite spot for the sunset — which was off the beaten path and way less crowded and picturesque for us to watch the sun peek behind the dunes; and took some beautiful pictures for us as keepsakes of our first time in the desert!
We learned so much about Omani culture, history, and most famous attractions from Said and would highly recommend sunshine tours for all your tourism needs in Oman. They’re one of the most established in the country and been around nearly two decades. Thank you again!

Our Third Unforgettable Adventure With Hamood - This was our third trip with Hamood — and just like every other time, he went above and beyond to cater to everything we wished for. My husband loves photography, and Hamood made sure we were always at the perfect viewpoints at the perfect moments. His timing and eye for great spots are truly impressive.
Everything with him is super professional: from the spotless, comfortable car to the smooth planning and his constant care along the way. He knows everyone, and everywhere we stopped people were genuinely happy to see him — often asking him for tips and updates. It’s clear he’s respected and loved wherever he goes.

Amazing Experience with Yahya – Made Our First Oman Trip Unforgettable! - This was our first time visiting Oman, and choosing this full-day private tour to Wadi Bani Khalid and the Wahiba Sands was the best decision we made. Our guide, Yahya, was truly exceptional - friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly professional.
From the moment we met him, Yahya made us feel comfortable and welcomed. He shared interesting stories about Omani culture, traditions, and history throughout the journey, which added so much value to the experience. His driving was smooth and safe, and he always made sure we had enough water, breaks, and great photo stops.
Wadi Bani Khalid was stunning, and Yahya guided us to the best spots for swimming and relaxing. The highlight of the day was the Wahiba Sands desert - watching the sunset on the golden dunes was magical. Yahya even helped us capture beautiful photos and made the whole experience feel personalized and special.
We came as first-time visitors, but because of Yahya, we are leaving with unforgettable memories. Highly recommend this tour and especially Yahya if you want a genuine, warm, and perfect Omani experience!

Great excellent ! - The water in Wadi Bani was very clean and it was great to have the experience of swimming in a river in a desert country.
The camel ride at the Bedouin camp and the experience of watching the desert sunset were amazing.
The explanations at Ibra were very detailed and I learned a lot about Oman's history.
Our guide, Khalid AlRaqadi, was very kind and polite, with a good sense of humor.
I would recommend him to anyone planning a tour.

My best and one more excellent experience with Sunshine Tours and Mr Said Al Kiyumi - I am a loyal customer of Sunshine Tours. as I have true friends when o have family trip around muscat.
They have a large fleet with super friendly fleet champions. Their cars are in excellent condition and are absolutely clean and comfortable.
Mr. Said Al Kiyumi has been today’s tour guide and his knowledge about Oman, his humble nature and dedication to serve is noteworthy. He takes great picture and speaks excellent English and his voice is very soothing.
I highly recommend taking their services as they are best value of money and 10-15% lower than any other company.

Wonderful excursion in the breathtaking nature of Oman - Very great day with our very nice tour guide Youssef. We were able to take many beautiful photos and enjoy the sunset in the desert. The guide was very accommodating and could enjoy the day relaxed. We always had enough water and he gave us specialties from Oman for tasting.
