Tsagaan Suvarga (White Stupa) - Situated in the southwest of Dundgobi province, the Tsagaan Suvarga scarp is a remarkable sheer slope that was once an ancient seabed. Its sedimentary structure, formed over millions of years, is fascinating, especially as it faces eastward towards the sun. From a distance, it resembles the ruins of an ancient city, earning it the name “White Stupa.” Due to its eastward orientation, animals sometimes fall during storms. The formation reaches over 60 meters at its highest point and stretches an impressive 400 meters. The stupa ascends to the sky at a 90-degree angle. After heavy rain, the water cascading down the stupa resembles a grand waterfall.
