I had an amazing time! I had a tour for my own and got showed whatever I wanted to see. Stopped at a lot of different points for some great photos, stopped at a hogan where I had an interesting conversation with a nice lady living there. I felt very comfortable and welcomed! Thank you so much for this great experience! Nadine
We were initially disturbed that our tour was to take place in an open air trailer with the wind blowing briskly and the temperature was only 40 degrees. But when the tour guide returned with an enclosed vehicle we were much more comfortable and enjoyed the tour immensely. The guide was very informative and seemed to enjoy his work.
Very knowledgeable guide! Professional attitude- took us to great places. Explained why the location was special. Excellent driver. Would use him again anytime! Thank you!
Nice guide who was very helpful pointing out good locations and shooting angles
Our tour guide was a very nice man. He took us on a very good tour and talked a lot about his heritage and the Navajo people. He even sang to us.
It was an amazing experience and our guide was very friendly.
Great explanations from the guide, amazing view and landscape discovering. Nice moment
The guide was very knowledgeable and very friendly. He gave us more than enough time to explore the area. The vehicle was a 4-wheel drive enclosed vehicle which protected against the elements as opposed to an open air vehicle that other tours used. Would highly recommend Phillips Photography Tours to friends and family.
Tully was an exellent driver, very friendly ans explained a lot to us. Moreover, he showed us many places we would Not have seen if we had done it ourselves.
Really nice Tourguide, he was very patience and had answers to all of our questions. Best Tour ever!!!
We were driven round the valley by Dan who was very knowledgeable and keen to show us the best photo opportunities. As a result I have some good pictures to work on in Photoshop.
Dan was waiting for us, and we started 15 minutes early because we were the only two on the tour. He showed us petroglyphs and pictographs in the secure area of the valley. Very enjoyable.
WE don.t speaker enlisé but WE Knowles to say WE were satisfirent.
Elliot was in the View lobby well before the appointed time. We were a bit early and that enabled us to start early. We saw features in the valley that we had no idea that they existed. I was most surprised by the arches. We really appreciated it when Elliot would show us some of the best vantage points to take pictures. We were given a very thorough trip through the valley. I liked seeing how a hogan was constructed. We were also given the names of many of the buttes and features on the buttes. All in all it was a very positive experience.
Our guide was outstanding showing us best places, insights and even took us back to a place we'd been when the fog lifted so we could retake photos.
This was one of those rare occasions when the experience is more than what is expected. To begin, we were chauffeured in an SUV just the two of us and our guide, not like the 'cattle cars' seating 12 elbow to elbow we passed on the way. And our guide Ray was unbelievable! He is Navaho and actually lives and grew up nearby. He seemed to really enjoy giving these tours. He took us all over and explained the history in various places.. He answered all our questions. He not only showed us the best places to take pictures, but even how best to frame scenes, color, lighting, etc. Ray even sang a song for us in Navaho! The 2 1/2 hours passed way too quickly. We ran a bit over, so he took us to our parking spot. I took a picture (with his permission!) of him next to my wife. It was like saying good-bye to an old friend!
It was wonderful experience Guide was very knowledgeable
Very personalized service with extremely helpful guide. Directed to perfect locations for time off day and saved many hours of scouting. Worth every penny.
My wife and I were exposed to the Navaho nation traditions, beliefs and customs with Termain. He made the monuments come alive while showing us the most unusual photo ops. We really enjoyed the experience with up close and personal service. The cultural experience was as memorable as the rock formations. We now appreciate some of our natural environment even more. We think the attention we received was second to none. Highly recommended.
