Friendly, good humoured and knowledgeable guide.
Good organized, friendly, very good explanations of your fantastic country. We have seen so many beautiful places in these 2 1/2 hours. We are happy to take so many nice memories with us home to Europe. Thanks again and best regards, Peter
Unfortunately we had to cancel our trip to the States, including the tour at Blackwater. Blackwater refunded our booking. We hope to be able to review the tour itself when we do get to visit Momument Valley.
We enjoyed our tour with Margie. She was friendly and pointed out the sights. However, she did not ever leave the truck to talk to us about the sights. We would have enjoyed hearing her views.
This is the best and only way to gain an understanding of the history and the cultural importance of Monument Valley to the Navajo Nation. Our guide, Jones was friendly and knowledgeable. Our family of six, aged from 6 to 72 had a great time.
There's a lot of tour companies serving Monument Valley but only one Larry. He was one of the best tour guides I've had any place in the world. He was knowledge. He was friendly. He was personable. He was real... No fake, forced friendliness. He told personal stories and asked us what we wanted. I'm also not a big fan of over the top dramatic tour guides so he was perfect for me. The tour itself was a once in a lifetime (for me anyways... Larry sees it daily) filled with dramatic vistas and photo opps (which Larry provided lots of experienced tips). I honestly can't say how pleased my wife and I were with the experience. It also helped that we picked an early time slot in off-season and had Larry all to ourselves.
Great tour guide. Margie did a great job. Informative and gave us plenty of time to walk around and take pictures.
