This venture, born from a deep connection with the Ōkere Awa (Kaituna River), is a collaboration between Ngāti Hinerangi and Rotorua Rafting’s local, Sam Sutton, designed to highlight its mauri (spirit) and significance with what is set to become Aotearoa’s leading zipline experience.
By enhancing our taiao through its operations, every guest will leave a legacy by having a tree planted in their name. Rotorua Ziplines’ reforestation project aims to plant 60,000 native trees by the end of 2025, ensuring Ōkere Falls flourishes for future generations.
