• Oia - As soon as we pick you up from your hotel (or nearby) we will head to the picturesque village of Oia. Famous for having the best view of the sunset, Oia is a traditional village perched on a cliff. You will have the chance to stroll down its narrow stone-paved paths and enjoy some coffee somewhere overlooking the vast blue of the Aegean Sea.

Leavin Oia behind us, we will move on to the Monastery of Profitis Ilias, where you will get a glimpse of the spiritual side of the island. the monastery was built by two monks in 1711 and features an exterior stone wall that makes it resemble a fortress. During that era, it was an important cultural and educational center as it also functioned as a school for several decades.

• Entrance fee to the Akrotiri Archaeological Site needs to be paid with cash on the spot
• Drive/guide is not licensed to guide you through the ancient sites of the island.
• If you are staying in Oia, you can alter the tour to include Kamari or another traditional village
• You can decide whether you wish to visit the village of Pyrgos or Megalochori. Details of the route you wish to follow can be sorted out after the booking.
• You are advised to bring with you the following items: sunscreen, sunglasses, swimsuit and beach towels.
• Entrance fee to the Akrotiri excavations (12 € per person, 6 € per child, free for infants)
