A wonderful experience at Villa Pigna Winery - Unforgettable Experience at Cantina Villa Pigna The visit and tasting at Cantina Villa Pigna proved to be an authentic and warm experience, which goes far beyond simple wine tasting. From the first moment the welcome was warm and familiar. Special credit goes to Giorgio, the host, a real storyteller. With his expertise and professionalism, he was able to turn the tasting into a journey, telling with passion the history of the winery, the production techniques and the soul of each label. The wines are framed by a carefully selected selection of cheeses and cold cuts, bruschetta and olives from Ascoli prepared to perfection. The selection of wines for tasting allowed us to appreciate the versatility and high quality of the production: two white and two red, each with its own distinctive personality. Honorable mention goes to the exceptional Rozzano Rosso Piceno which stands out for its intensity, balance and richness of aromas. Great value for money.

I absolutely recommend - Really enjoyable experience. The guided tour was really interesting, explained in a simple but engaging way, perfect even for those who are not experienced but curious. An experience that I recommend to those who love good wine and want to spend a few hours immersed in authentic flavors and a relaxing atmosphere.

Amazing discovery - Our tasting experience at Villa Pigna was fantastic! I booked this experience for my sister's birthday and it was a success. The owner of villa pigna is very kind and funny, as well as a competent oenologist, who delighted us with the history of wine production and marketing. We learned a lot, especially about the complexity (and politics) of the wine world. Thank you so much! Last but not least, the tasting was unparalleled: three white and two red wines accompanied by cheeses and cold cuts, local oil and olives from Ascolino. Villa pigna was a great discovery for us and we recommend this immersion experience in the world of wine to everyone, along with an exceptional guide!

Wine and Hospitality Exceeded Our Expectations! - The owner’s son gave us an in depth tour of their winery and I have never learned so much about wine in all my years of drinking wine, which is many, many years! The tour of the cellar was so educational and very interesting. We have never seen such pride of product and ownership. This is not your run of the mill tour. This is outstanding and excellent. The best tour we have ever been on and we have been on many. The history of the family winery makes you appreciate all the hard work and passion that goes in to creating delicious, fantastically priced, regional wines. The tasting was fabulous, plentiful, and served with local meats, cheeses, and olives that paired beautifully!

The passion of wine - Giorgio is an excellent host in love with his work. During the visit of the winery and the tasting he gave us all the passion he puts into his work and the sense of belonging to the territory. Great experience, great wines, great people.

Beautiful setting, great wines, learnt a lot - We had an exclusive tour of the cantina with Giorgio. We learnt so much about the Rosso Piceno wine and the fascinating history of Villa Pigna. All presented in an engaging and informative way. The tasting was fabulous - 5 wines with a very generous portion of Ascoli delicacies - local cheese, prosciutto and stuffed olives. Well worth the visit, we would do it again. The wine is good. We bought 4 boxes. We are looking forward to drinking them over the coming months. The setting is stunning nestled in the middle of grapevines and hills with the Adriatic on the horizon and villages dotted around.

A wonderful time together - Satisfied in full with a pleasant experience. Giorgio the owner was very engaging and interesting, explaining with sympathy and professionalism the history of the winery and wines. He gave us his passion. The tastings amazed us and we also re-evaluated types of wines that we do not like very much, instead these proposed by the cellar are definitely interesting. Tasting also accompanied by appetizers with flavors of the territory decidedly excellent and abundant. Definitely recommended.
