Despite a shortage of military equipment, weapons, and soldiers, Odesa remained resilient and successfully overcame the German-Romanian forces! This tour will take you through a historical complex featuring an open-air exhibition of military equipment from the Great Patriotic War era. We will discuss the weapons, military strategies, and techniques of that time, delve into military legends, explore history, and much more. Our aim is to present the historical and courageous spirit of Odesa, a city that faced despair but emerged victorious.
The tour begins at the Monument of Ivan Franko, where you will meet the guide. You can then choose between a taxi or public bus for transportation. A taxi ride takes approximately 25 minutes one way and costs around 350 UAH (€8). Alternatively, public transport takes 60-70 minutes one way and costs 15 UAH (euro). The tour itself lasts up to two hours, plus transportation time, totaling up to four hours for the round trip and tour.
