After a brief orientation, you’ll board our bus for a scenic ride into the Cherokee National Forest to the river. Your guide will go over a complete safety orientation with some time to practice before getting on the river. You’ll experience the beauty of Bush Gardens, the excitement of Mikey’s, the Blue Hole, and Let’s Make a Deal before reaching the Olympic section. The Olympic section is 800 yards of back to back class III/IV whitewater. A riverside lunch will be served under a canopy of trees at the half way point. Lunch includes build your own deli sandwiches, peel-n-eat shrimp, chips, cookies, fresh fruit, tea and lemonade. After lunch the adventure will continue down the Middle Ocoee for 5 miles of exciting, continuous class III/IV whitewater. Plan time to look at trip photos after your adventure. You’ll be gone from the outpost 6 hours of which approx. 5 will be on the river.
No experience is necessary, minimum age to raft is 12. We are on EASTERN TIME.

Quest Expeditions is located at the US-64/Hwy 411 junction in Ocoee, TN. 30 minutes from Chattanooga, TN (45 minutes from downtown); 15 minutes east of Cleveland, TN; 2 hours north of Atlanta, GA. We are on EASTERN TIME.

RIVER RAFTING - My first time using this app and it’s super cool.so many things to do any where in the world.i was very impressed and happy. I love to travel and with this app you will find something to do. Very convenient.

Big John is the Best! - This was SO much fun…it was my second time white water rafting and a totally different experience than my first time thanks to Big John. He was so good at guiding and directing us through the rapids. I was a little nervous bc my first experience (in another state) felt much less like we had a clear guidance and more like we were just winging it down the river. Big John was knowledgable and crucial to having a fun, smooth, and safe trip! Five stars for sure!

Remember that time when your girlfriend was scared to go white water rafting and then loved it in the end! - This is me and my sons 2nd trip with Quest Expeditions and my girlfriends first. We all had a great experience. Our guide was very experienced and knew that we wanted to experience the best parts of the river. Thank you Tristan!!!
Even though my girlfriend looked terrified in the pictures, she had so much fun and was happy she went. BTW, the picture quality was excellent! So many good pictures they take of us! They make it so everyone has the best time! Can’t wait to book another trip!!!

A great fun day on the Ocoee - This was our 5th trip with Quest but our first full day on the Ocoee and it was fantastic. The lunch was unexpectedly very good . We are planning to do the full day again next year with the entire family of six. The guide was informative and his banter was enjoyable. Some of the bus guide’s humor and antics were weird in their efforts to be funny and pump us up. All in all , I highly recommend this trip.

Big John was an excellent... - Big John was an excellent guide. He told us what to expect every step of the way and we handled the rafting trip like bosses. It was a great time, even in the rain. Big John gave us chances to do some cool things that not everyone was doing. Excellent Trip!!

UWF Outdoor Adventures ♥ Quest Expeditions - I’m the Outdoor Adventures Coordinator from UWF, and this was our second year rafting with Quest Expeditions—I sure hope not our last! 🌊 These folks are the best: sweet, caring, a little goofy (in the best way), and absolute pros at keeping everyone safe while making sure no one forgets the adventure.
We tackled the full 10-mile run over a crazy-busy Labor Day weekend with three rafts, and every student came off the river grinning ear to ear. Huge shoutout to our guides Grayson, Arron, and Kaelyn—y’all crushed it! 🛶👏
The bunkhouse arrangements worked perfectly, too, making the whole trip smooth and stress-free.

10 out of 10 . Money well spent Will do again - Aaron was our guide for a full day trip. He took the time prior to hitting the river to find out our skill levels. Once he knew we all had prior experience and had faith in us following his instructions he made sure we got our moneys worth and more. He explained every rapid prior to it. What the river was going to do and what we needed to do to get the best experience.
Lunch was great. All together 10 out of 10 experience

Full River Fun! - Awesome full river trip with Grayson for my son’s 13th bday. 5 stars across the board! Seriously one of the best river and guide experiences I’ve ever had, and I’ve done the river 4 times, and lots of others around the US

Great trip with many memories! - Quest is a great rafting outfit that we have done now twice. They spend the time to go over safety and we had guide Tim. Our trip ended up with us using our knowledge to rescue another guest from a different outfit that their guide didn’t even notice he had been tossed out. We rescued the park ranger that slipped down the rock bank when she needed our medical supplies for an accident. But we will never forget the osprey bird that flipped into our raft and went down the rapids in our raft. Our guide’s “ first” at rescuing a bird from his raft. You are not just a number at Question, they make you feel safe and create a great trip. The food at the apricot cafe is the best. Try their fried pickles after your trip!

Best Ever !!! Chase is the Best - Our guide was Chase. Chase was the best guide we ever had, we are from NC and we are coming back in a couple of weeks and want Chase again please.
