The Luminous Lagoon, located in the historic town of Falmouth in western Jamaica, is one of the rare places where the phenomenon of bioluminescence occurs. Visitors have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience this enchanting event, with the chance to swim in the glowing waters after being transported by boat to the site. A representative from Pajero Vacation and Tours will pick you up from your hotel and drive you along the scenic north coast to the location. Upon arrival, your host Dennis will welcome you with a choice of his special blended rum punch or a refreshing bottle of spring water. As night falls, you’ll board the boat for a short ride to the magical spot. Your knowledgeable guide will explain the phenomenon and allow you to fully enjoy the experience. The total time on the water is 40 minutes.
