Misleading Tour and Unprofessional Driver - Unfortunately, this tour did not match the description on Viator at all. It was advertised as a 3‑hour private excursion with photo stops, onboard drinks, Wi‑Fi, and visits to several attractions. In reality, the experience was simply a ride to Konoko Falls and back, and the entire “tour” lasted about 2 hours including driving time. The driver did message in the morning to say he would be 1.5 hours late, but even with that notice, the delay was significant and set a very uncomfortable tone for the day — especially as a solo female traveler. Konoko Falls itself was beautiful, and the guide at the park was lovely — but everything else that was promised was missing. There were no photo stops, no sightseeing drive, no water or drinks in the car, and no Wi‑Fi. It was essentially just a taxi ride, not a guided tour. This tour was operated by BJ Tours, but the driver spent much of the ride trying to divert me away from BJ Tours entirely. He tried to sell me a Bob Marley Nine Mile Tour run by his own small private company, essentially attempting to take BJ’s customer for himself. When we returned to the hotel, he even handed me his personal business card and encouraged me to book directly with him the next day, bypassing both BJ Tours and Viator. This felt highly unprofessional and inappropriate. I’m grateful that Viator handled the situation well and provided compensation, but I cannot recommend this tour. You could easily do the same thing by taking a regular taxi to Konoko Falls and back for a fraction of the price.
