Upon arrival at the venue, the local guides will choose a horse with a personality that matches the rider. Basic instructions will be provided to help communicate with the new equine companion, and there will be a few minutes to get accustomed to the horse’s gait.

If any adjustments are needed for comfort, they will be made at this time. Once the rider feels comfortable and in control of their new partner, the journey will begin, riding through the countryside and learning about the culture and people of Jamaica while atop the horse.
