Good tour - Did this tour with family on Saturday. It was a damp day but weather dried up and Ruby our host was great, greeted everyone personally, so full of knowledge about the area and kept it interesting. Throughout the tour which lasted 90 minutes, Ruby took time to chat an take interest in everyone in the group and was happy to answer questions.

We went on this walking... - We went on this walking tour on 28 June 25. Our tour guide Kenny was very knowledgeable and gave us a good insight into Oban and its history. It was meant to be a small group tour but there was 20 of us which, combined with the fact that it was very windy, made it hard to hear at times. All in all worthwhile and good value for money.

Lovely morning! - Lovely tour with a friendly guide. We learned a lot about several places we ended up visiting later in the day. It was a great overview of the town.

Great insights and a fun guide - Ruby our guide was fun, interesting and knowledgeable. A thoroughly enjoyable and relaxed couple of hours. Only negative was we felt there must be a better pub than The View for the whisky tasting as it was a little disappointing and noisy.

Good, but limited - It was a good tour, but it could have been better. We really enjoyed the guide, but there wasn’t as much content as we’d hoped for. There was an enjoyable walk along a forest path and a good description of the various castles, but we would have liked more about the town, itself…maybe something more about the architecture and development of Oban. So, the tour was worthwhile, but it could have been much more!

Room for Improvement - Unfortunately we cannot recommend this walking tour. Our guide (Jane) was admittedly new, but we really didn’t get much from our walk other than a walk about town, which we could have easily done on our own. Our group was large ~15 and the limited information that was shared was discussed between the guide and the people walking immediately adjacent to her, while she occasionally shouted things back at the rest of the group, which no one could hear. She also had a very thick accent, which was our issue not hers.
