Fascinating look at Oaxacan street art - This was a very interesting walk through two neighborhoods in Oaxaca, both off the main tourist corridors, to learn about their many murals. The leader, Sara, is herself a local artist and very knowledgeable about the art and the larger historical and social contexts of the works (a few were works of her own). It’s also a great introduction to the two neighborhoods, Xochimilco and Jalatlaco, and their history and contemporary challenges. Highly recommended.

Must Do Tour!! Extra Special! - This tour was amazing. We absolutely loved the murals and art, but Sarah was what made the tour so great. She was so knowledgeable about the art, the artists, the meaning behind the murals, the culture, and the history. We stopped at a park and she even taught us how to block print. And we got to take ours home. It was an extra surprise to get to see some of her murals and block prints in the tour! Highly recommend this tour! We had a great time!

Beautiful Oaxaca - Sara was an amazing guide, hugely knowledgeable and passionate about Oaxaca and the art. Her own art is amazing and I would urge anyone to do this tour and see Oaxaca at its best

Perfect mural tour! - Great mural walk through Xochimilco including visit to tin and weaver workshops, and then the beautiful murals of Jalatlaco. Sara was accommodating, knowledgeable and very pleasant!

Great introduction to Oaxaca de Juarez art culture - Sara is a fantastically knowledgeable and personable guide as well as a talented local artist. She has a well planned itinerary that is flexible enough to include individual interests. I highly recommend this tour as an introduction to the artistic neighborhoods of Xochimilco and Jalatlaco.

Oaxaca is a wonderful place to see all kinds of beautiful street art and Sara led our group to see some of its finest - including her own contributions. Amazing introduction to Oaxaca Street Art! - This was wonderful tour. As an artist herself, our guide Sara Gubits is deeply connected with the Oaxaca artistic community, and tells rich stories about the muralists on the tour. We visited the Barrios of Jatatlaco and Xochimilco, saw murals in a wide variety of styles and media, and visited two workshops along the way as a bonus. We felt very connected to the scene, thanks to Sara’s open, friendly demeanour and willingness to share.
