Tour of Zapotecha Museum and Archeological Site. - Pictures do not do it justice, a spectacular site on the top of one of the hills surrounding Oaxaca. Wonderful guide. In depth descriptions, great historical perspective. You can climb the stairs or take a less strenuous trip through. We used up all the time.

We were at 9:00 a.m. before... - We were there at 9am and could listen to the first introductions below the mountain in peace and shade. Our guide gave excellent insights into the religion and customs of the Zapoteks. The view from the summit of the very well preserved place of worship is overwhelming.

Great Half Day Highly Recommended - This was a great day, thanks to Miguel our guide. He was extremely knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor. He wore his learning very lightly and added so much to what we would have experienced alone. We understood so much more of what we saw and had a little window on the Zapotecs and the whole history of Mexico. He's great and made the tour.
