Guide optional? - There’s an English speaking guide who went on the van ride and was available for a guided tour for some amount. It wasn’t clear that this would be part of the trip and that you are not obliged to accept this.

No tourist traps here! - Great no nonsense tour, beautiful, recommended! No tourist traps. Great staff. Good communication. There is lots of food to buy at the spot so no need to bring snacks (whole meals available)

Very fun day, beautiful views - The views are incredible. The pools were too cold to swim but we didn't really mind. The hike was challenging and we felt like we were getting lost so we went back up the hill which was a great workout! The hike portion is not for those who are not physically fit. The pools are much easier to access without the home but you will miss some of the spectacular views.

Just the right trip - Well organised and comfortabke - no commercial stops (which is great) - a trip with good time to explore the pools and mountain side around. the accompanying guide was bi-lingual and friendly, making the trip complete with our driver. Thank you

Good trip - I loved not having to wake up early and rush--companies should consider offering more tours that start at a reasonable hour. The tour was fine, Poncho the company rep was great and the driver was very good. I enjoyed being at Hierve El Agua. Recommended .

Great service- just what we wanted! - This is a great trip if you want to visit with no extras or hidden stops or unnecessary visits to other attractions. We were picked up on time, it was all very efficient and well organised. We were guided through the process of entering the park and the walking routes. This doesn’t include a guide but you really don’t need one, the small briefing when we arrived was completely sufficient. A magical experience with plenty of time to hike and swim and back in Oaxaca city by the afternoon!

oK tour - Nice tour, but it went an hour overtime and we had a seat with views mostly blocked by a pilar between windows.

The site is a cool... - The site is a cool experience. However on the way there we stopped on the side of the road asked to buy some kind of cold dessert. This was not on the schedule so was frustrating and felt like the guide trying to shake us down for money. Also in the way there was poor explanation and came around twice asking for money which was for the tickets but there was no explanation so was a bit unsettling. We also stayed at the site for three hours which I think is too long and was also advertised that we would stay for two hours.
