As we arrive at Hierve el Agua, we will explore the whole area and look at it from many different perspectives. You will have free time at the pools where you will have a chance to refresh and swim in the healing thermal (not hot) waters of Hierve el Agua; swim, meditate, or just contemplate the beautiful view of the valley below.

Great experience, would do it again! - Five stars! Diego was a phenomenal host and the trip was a perfect blend of outdoor activity and exploring Oaxacan culture. We learned a lot and we had a blast. Can’t ask for more than that. Highly recommend.

Very much worth going - Very cool trip... and excellent guides. Be sure to bring bathing suit and, ideally, beach shoes. The hike is great and the trip leader was vary knowledgable

Majestic scenery and great day out - Fantastic day out - the hike is challenging but worth the amazing scenery. The food and hospitality was great at both breakfast and lunch hosts. The mezcal tasting was generous and a lot of fun. Our guide was professional, friendly and knowledgeable.
Highly recommend this tour. It’s pricey but very worth it.

Don’t miss this special tour - This was a 10/10 experience that I would highly recommend. Hierve el Agua is a beautiful place that you see with experienced and knowledgeable guides.
The landscape and swimming in the pools were one of the best days of our 11 day visit to Mexico. The food for bf lunch and snacks were all delicious and welcome.
The Mezcal tasting was also a great experience.
Christian as guide and Jorge as driver were both excellent and made our day special.
Don’t miss this exceptional tour!

Great hiking, scenery, swimming and mezcal! - Beautiful and interesting walk around the “petrified waterfalls” with local guide, refreshing swim in the infinity mineral pools, nice hike down into the valley and to a waterfalls, with swimming, then mezcal tasting at a small, independently owned mezcaleria (where we tasted at least 10 types of mezcal, learned and saw the process of making the mezcal had lunch with the master mezcalero, who taught us much about mezcal and life in the area). It was a beautiful day, Angel was a fabulous guide and the overall experience was worth the high price.

Beautiful experience and well curated! - We had a wonderful trip to Hierve el Agua and to a mezcal farm and distillery. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and funny. She did a great job teaching us about plants, history and the surrounding community on our hike. There was a nice balance of free-time and structured programming. I would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience between nature and adventure - Excellent organization especially in terms of punctuality, from the start to compliance with the described itinerary.
The hiking route was well balanced, with stretches that required a little physical effort but absolutely within everyone’s reach, rewarded by breathtaking views and total immersion in nature. Along the way, we had the opportunity to discover wonderful corners, away from the tourist chaos, and to appreciate the beauty of the place in all its authenticity.
In summary, I highly recommend this tour to those who want a perfect balance between hiking, contact with nature and discovering enchanting places. It was really a pleasure to participate!

Beautiful hierve el agua - The hike to hierve el agua was amazing as were Paula and Ramsys. Please excuse me if I got the names wrong.
They were so kind, caring and gave us such a fantastic insight into the area as a whole. The mezcal tasting was interesting. As we opted out of the second part of the hike due to the heat we went to el tule to see the 2000 year old tree. It was good to see another little town in Oaxaca. Would recommend this company any time. Would have loved to do another tour with them. Thank you Paula, Ramsys and Coyote

We hiked from Hierve to a "locals" waterfall, which we had all to ourselves. We then were treated to an incredible mezca - An absolutely incredible experience. The guide was personable, experienced and competent. They took us to spots that I would have never encountered independently and you felt how much the guide loves Oaxaca and being in the environment. I highly recommend booking a tour with this thoughtful company.

Bigger Adventure Than Expected - This was an unforgettable experience that I will recommend to all my friends/family who visit Oaxaca. Not only were the sights unique and beautiful, but the visit to Jeronimo's mezcal was one of my favorite memories from the whole trip. I must say, the second hike was very hard; the distance and expectations were not disclosed and I felt badly for someone on the trip who had never hiked before (they were miserable). The first hike is easy, so we didn't think twice about the second leg of the trip. But the second hike is completely exposed, challenging, long and very hot in the summer! However, it was worth it for the end destination. There was plenty of time given to us to swim in the pools and relax at the secret waterfall, I never felt like I was rushing. I appreciate that this tour starts early so we could miss the crowds and enjoy a whole day of adventure. This tour was the highlight of my visit to Oaxaca!!
