Led by Betsaida, a passionate Zapotec woman, the tour promised an immersive experience that would connect me with the local community and its traditions.

Our journey began at Reforma 444, where we were introduced to the concept of sustainable tourism. Betsaida’s commitment to supporting local farmers, artisans, and vendors was evident in every aspect of the tour. As we strolled through the bustling markets, I was struck by the vibrant displays of fresh produce, handmade crafts, and the intoxicating aroma of traditional Oaxacan dishes.
