Diving on Oahu - This was by far one of our best dives. We dove with Dive Oahu twice during our visit to the island. Both times, Jeff was an amazing dive master and guide. He was very knowledgeable about diving and the area and was thoughtful of our needs. A lot of dive companies can take you out on charters but what impressed us about Dive Oahu were the number of retired military that led the trips. Matt and Jeff were a great team when we dove Sea Tiger and a shallow reef, but Mike, Josh, and Jeff were an equally solid team when we did a three tank dive off the west coast. Would highly recommend this company on your next dive on Oahu.

Highly recommend! - This is my second time diving with this group and I wasn’t disappointed. Everyone from the office staff, to the dive guide and boat crew are great. I love the history behind the sites that Lindsey shared and she provided excellent dive briefs. Highly recommend!

First class dive team - Nacho, Jacob and Colton were excellent. They fit us with equipment and had everything ready for us once we got on the boat. Going out to the dive spot we were lucky to see a bunch of whales. The dive team of Jacob and Colton were professional and very helpful in our dive. Everything went smooth and the dive was incredible. After the first dive they set up our tanks for the second dive as we chilled up front and looked for more whales. All we had to do was slip everything back on and jump in for the second dive. It was a first class operation with these 3 guys. I'll definitely dive with these guys again.

Five star - After the "airplane safety review" the boat, it moved out swiftly and with two restrooms on board comfortably we were all suited up before we got on the boat. And they had boat storage lockers for all our things that we needed to keep dry. A nice touch. The gear was great. And we had four dive instructors that broke us up into small teams and checked our gear before we got to the dive. We gotta dive preview and helped getting in and out of the water. It doesn't get much better than that. Of course. The dive was great. But it's a little things that make a difference. Cheers al

Phenomenal 3-day wreck tour - The 3-day wreck tour is one of the best dive experiences I've done so far. It was a great way to pack in the big dive sites on south Oahu (Ewa Pinnacles & Navy Tug, Sea Tiger & Kewalo Pipe, and YO-257, San Pedro, and Nautilus Reef) in a short trip. To get eels, sharks, eagle rays, sea turtles, nudibranches, and octopuses all in one go was a particular treat for me. A big draw for the deep/shallow 2-tank dives with Dive Oahu was their proximity to Waikiki and the fact that the 7am charters are back at the harbor by 10am, so you have nearly a full day for shore activities after. The boat crews were phenomenal (Alex, Adam, Matt, and Nacho), and they took great care ensuring equipment was ready to go and having ready info on the dive plan and safety notes. Divemaster Heather and Ami were really went above and beyond in showing us as much of the wrecks and reefs as could be fit in, and were very attentive to safety. The equipment we used (Scubapro Air2s) really is top of the line, which made the deep dives that much more comfortable. I was also relieved they had spare masks when I realized I'd left mine behind one day (thank you Heather!). Can't wait to come back on my next visit!

Great dive on a tough weather day. - Windy, rainy and rough day but the crew was great. Professional and friendly staff and excellent equipment. This a good quick dive near Waikiki.

Disappointing - I truly wanted this to be a great experience, but unfortunately it ended up being very disappointing. I had a dive scheduled in January during a particularly bad cold and flu season, and I came down with a severe illness the day before my scheduled dive. Because it can be dangerous to dive with a sinus infection, I called to cancel out of concern for both my own safety and the health of others. I was told I could not receive a refund because I hadn’t purchased “travel insurance.” First, I do not recall seeing an option for travel insurance when booking. Second, getting sick was obviously not something I planned for. I was genuinely hoping for some understanding and flexibility given the circumstances, especially since I was trying to avoid putting myself at risk or exposing others. Unfortunately, no one was willing to help. It was extremely difficult to speak with a manager, and when I finally did, I was told they would follow up — which never happened. With $300 on the line, I felt I had no choice but to go despite being sick. To make matters worse, the dive was advertised as featuring a sunken ship, which was a major reason I booked it. There was no ship, and that was never clearly communicated. That added to the disappointment. The only reason I am giving any stars at all is because my dive guide was kind and clearly competent. She did a great job. However, the overall experience — especially the lack of support and professionalism from management — left a very negative impression.
