Fantastic family trip - The trip was well worth the money. The staff is fantastic and my family loved it. There are several options of things to do on the boat so everyone was happy. The boat itself was impressive with hot tub and all the fishing gear. Captain Kyle was knowledgeable and fun to speak with. It was luxurious fishing with a billion dollar view!

Stray buoy marked the spot. - I had the distinct pleasure to undertake a four (4) hour afternoon fishing expedition with Captain Andy and his Mate, Lucas on September 23, 2025. The fishing was excellent, as we were fortuitous to locate a stray buoy sighted by Captain Andy earlier that morning which marked the spot where dozens of various sea birds were feeding. Underneath the seething waves was a frenetic feeding frenzy of Yellow Fin Tuna and Blackjack Tuna. It was an awesome and exhilarating fishing trip and I highly recommend Ohana fishing tours.

Big Tuna - Capt Andy and Mate Lucas were amazing. My son caught a huge yellow fin tuna. They were knowledgeable, professional and very interactive. Would highly recommend. This charter was the highlight of our trip.

3/4 day fishing - Amazing crew and boat, we did a 6hr and extended 1 extra hour. Captain Andrew and his first mate Lucas were amazing the entire trip. Savannah was always asking if we needed anything as well. Definitely recommend this fishing charter.

Birthday celebration in style! - What an amazing experience! Chartered the Iwa Kai with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday out on the water. We had an amazing time. We saw whales and some sea turtles while cruising around the breathtaking views of Diamondhead. Communication was crystal clear and the staff was top-notch professional. Looking forward to booking again in the very near future.

Best Boat Trip - Captain Andy and deck hands Lucas and Whitney were incredibly friendly and our kids (13 and 7 years old) loved the trip. We caught an incredibly beautiful striped Marlin (first one for my son and me) and our entire family loved the boat - very clean, comfortable. Perfect boat trip and couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you!

Hawaii yacht adventure - We had a fantastic time on board the Ohana Yacht! Our family (my wife and I, our 3 sons and 2 daughters in law) had a great sail off the coast of Honolulu. We sailed for a while and saw all the sights along the coast and then we anchored and had a swim for an hour and a half. It was amazing. And Captain Andy and Nicole were absolutely great! They asked what we wanted to do and then did it for us. They also attended to our every need. Simply great! We would highly recommend this experience.

A Peaceful and Memorable Ocean Experience with Ohana Yochts - On January 2nd, I joined Ohana Yochts with guests from Japan for an ocean scattering cruise, and it turned out to be a truly meaningful experience. Although the previous charter ran longer than expected and our departure was slightly delayed, Captain Andy handled the situation with professionalism and sincere care. His thoughtful apology and calm attitude immediately put everyone at ease, and we felt well looked after from the start. The boat was clean, comfortable, and spacious, creating a relaxing environment throughout the cruise. We were on the IWAKAI, a 74-foot luxury boat, and its size made a noticeable difference. Even with the ocean conditions around Waikiki, the ride felt smooth and stable, allowing everyone to feel safe and relaxed. Before and after the ceremony, the views of Waikiki from the sea were breathtaking, and seeing a rainbow over the city made the moment even more special. For my guests, this became an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experience filled with beauty and peace. The care shown by the Ohana Yochts team and the overall atmosphere made the day truly memorable. I would absolutely choose Ohana Yochts again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a special and reassuring experience on the water.

Would not call it fishing - We paid for four hour fishing trip. Started off great everyone treated us very kind. Left the harbor, the head fisherman put the lines in straight away. Did not touch them for four hours. Just sat there and did nothing all four hours. Obviously, we did not catch anything. Would not recommend them for fishing.

No Call No Show... Would give a 0 if I could - My husband and I showed up to get deep sea fishing Monday 8/5 for a 3/4 day trip. We arrived about 45 minutes early prior to check in (6am) and met the 3 other individuals waiting at the gate to check in as well. About 5 minutes until our ship off time, another captain by the same company assured us that our captain was at our boat and would come get us. We waited several minutes while no one came to retrieve us. After messaging the captain through Fishing Booker, calling the number provided, and speaking to the front desk, no one could get a hold of the captain. We finally were able to gain access (by the help of actual professional businesses that saw us and were concerned/confused as to what was happening) to the pier where we walked to our boat to find that no one was at our boat. Over an hour past our ship off time, we finally had the receptionist come out to say that the captain "called in sick" and no other captain was on island in order to assist us and then provided an option to reschedule or get a refund. We received our refund and left. I am baffled that a fishing charter company can operate in such a manner. There were MANY moments that someone could have stepped in during the entire process but did not: the sick captain could have informed us that he was not going to show up rather than ignoring calls/messages. The other boat captains could have contacted us as well or called off the charter long before they did. The boat captain that we DID speak to could have been a decent human being and not lie openly to our face or contact the captain himself when he saw that all of us were waiting. The receptionist did all she could so I do not fault her in this, but it felt a bit nonchalant when telling us that our charter had been canceled after over an hour waiting and us continuously going to her asking for updates. Just felt like no real remorse/regret and an incredibly hollow/insincere apology. I have never written a poor review of a company before as I feel like the bad ones stain a company, but I would NEVER recommend this company. We, along with the other passengers, were looking forward to getting out and deep sea fishing but instead we were completely ignored by a company that does not have professionalism. We could have easily gone to another company to charter with and I wish that he had rather than wasting our morning on our vacation with Ohana Sport Fishing. Not to mention: After all of this occurred, the captain "canceled" the trip on Fishing Booker for "mechanical issues", thus not allowing us to leave a review on that site. I want to give the benefit of the doubt and believe that it may have been the only option that the captain had, but based on how everything went that morning, I doubt it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
