Amazing shark tour! - This is THE shark tour to do! Captain Derek and his son Kama were amazing. They were so nice and explained the different types of sharks we could see. The experience seeing these beautiful creatures was something we won't forget. They also gave us great recommendations to explore in Haleiwa town.

Puppies of the Sea with CPT Derrick - The tour was absolutely amazing and I hope everyone books with Haleiwa Shark Tours! The father and son duo gave us the more personal feeling tour of friends bringing you out for a boat ride and fun time! Cpt Derrick and Cpt K were so knowledgeable about the sharks and about the taboos that movies have made of the “puppies of the sea”. They made sure everyone on the tour was comfortable and SAFE! Their personal recommendations of local spots and their winning ALOHA personalities will have us booking with them again and again!

Ten out of ten! - Forrest and Tyler were very friendly, provided great information. They answered all the questions we had. The water was a little rough but they still were able to make sure we saw sharks and had a great time. Would absolutely go again given the opportunity!

Epic Adventure! - What an epic experience. We saw more than a dozen sharks but felt completely safe the whole time. The captain was nice and helped us with our underwater camera and even snapped a few of us in the cage. His deckhand was also awesome. She really knew her stuff and was so helpful and kind to my nervous wife. I can’t wait to bring my kids the next trip out. On a side note- I accidentally went to the other side of the harbor to a different shark tour and the guy was an arrogant jerk. I can’t remember the name of his boat but probably for good reason. This is the only one worth remembering!

Amazing experience !! - Tour worth the money! We saw so many sharks. The captain and his son were amazing and attentive guides. Loved that we were supporting a local business. 100% would do it again. Tip- if you are prone to sea sickness make sure you come prepared with Dramamine :)

Unforgettable time with Haleiwa Shark Tours - Our family had an unforgettable time with Haleiwa Shark Tours — we are Oahu residents and this is our second time with the company, my son wanted to do it again for his birthday. From start to finish, the experience was safe, exciting, and deeply educational. We saw lots of sharks up close, and it was absolutely breathtaking to watch them glide through the water in their natural environment. A huge shoutout to Lono, one of the crew members, who made the tour even more special. His deep knowledge of the sharks and his passion for Hawaiian culture really shined through. He shared fascinating facts and stories that helped us better appreciate not just the sharks, but the deep cultural connection Hawaiians have with the ocean. You could feel his respect for the sea and the creatures that live in it — it was inspiring. We felt safe, informed, and completely blown away by the whole experience. If you're visiting the North Shore and looking for something unique, this is it. Highly recommend Haleiwa Shark Tours to anyone — families, couples, or solo travelers — looking to connect with nature in the most awe-inspiring way. Mahalo for the memories!
