Great Afternoon at PCC, just touring the islands with 2 teen boys - We had a great afternoon at PCC - we did not participate in the dinner or luau, it was early in our trip and I knew we would be jet lagged, plus we were an hour away from our hotel. But going through the islands and seeing the various shows was great - the shows were OUTSTANDING. Couple of snack stands throughout the park (not enough though, so eat at the marketplace before you go in) but it kind of felt like Epcot just more authentic. I really wanted the kids to learn more about the Polynesian cultures and we certainly did.

Excellent day trip from Honolulu - Polynesian cultural centre located on the island of Oahu on the north shore near Kuhuku town. It is a fantastic experience right from bookings done online to pick up drop by coach to Honolulu. The centre is primarily managed by students who come to study and they work here part time. The presence of enthusiastic students is what makes this place very welcoming and organized. We visited all 6 islands and also the breadth of Ha show. The cultural experiences and exhibits on each island has been outstanding. A special mention to foodtrucks in the market selling food, knick knacks and ice-cream as well as famous hawaii shaved ice. I would highly recommend this activity for anyone visiting Oahu and wants to get close to Polynesian culture.

Wonderful, authentic experience - When we first arrived, we were concerned that it would be a bit like Disney's Epcot, with fake decor and stereotypical copies of the islands of Polynesia. Although the waterfalls and some of the displays are obviously not natural, we were pleasantly surprized by the authenticity of each pavilion. Most of the guides are young university students who come from the islands they represent, here in Hawaii to study but also work at the cultural center to share their cultures. And although the shows are scripted, and yes sometimes maybe a bit Disney-esque, they are really quite fun and informative. Once we took the time to visit each of the pavilions, and talked to the young ambassadors, we were absolutely delighted to learn and discover so much about these amazing cultures. These young men and women represent a country and culture they love, and they seem happy to share it with us and answer all our questions. It is these young students that made our visit so wonderful, so if you can, take the time to talk to them. Now our biggest problem, is finding a way to visit each one of the countries we discovered… well done you!

Must-Visit When in Oahu - Highly recommend a visit. We did the 3 day ticket and used it on two non-consecutive days. There is so much to see and internalize that it's really impossible to fully enjoy the entire center in only one full day (burn-out). We took to the tour of BYU and the Temple which only takes 30-45 minutes and is well worthwhile to give you a better appreication of how unusual the entire concept of the cultural center really it. Very high production (almost Disney-esk). The center is beautifully laid out and the scheduling is such that it ensures that the visitors are evenly distributed throughout the villages to ensure a great vistor's expereience. Plenty of bathrooms and comfort-type services. Every village offers free on-hands learning experiences that make the visit extra special. Quick 15 minute movie in a nice air conditioned stadium-seated theater. Extremely helpful staff throughout. Free parking. The food we ate at the evening show was very good; buffett with large variety of main-meal options and desserts and beverages as well. This is a must-do for all visitors of Oahu.

Walk around the Islands - A little expensive for the 6 island tour access but was a very enjoyable place to visit. lots of exotic plants to see. Canoe rides, Big screen film. In person presentations, interactive displays. Go early in the day so you can see all the demonstrations and get to spend time in the culture of each island. LOTS TO SEE.

Rude staff - Bus arrived early but won’t let us onboard. Guide and driver just chit chatting inside. Won’t talk to us or answer questions. Just rudely waved us off to wait

Unsatisfied Customer - When I checked in this morning I was told to ride with Shaft. Then when we pulled off I received a call asking me where I was. The person told me ok go head with that driver. It doesn't make any sense that when I give my last name and I am on the list. Why is someone calling me about getting on their bus too. Then after that I was having a great time until they switch my bus number coming back. I was already seated on the bus that was told to me when I arrive. Left the show early to make sure we could sit together as a family and then right before pulling off. I get a call telling me I am on the wrong bus. That was very unprofessional. It made it seem like I was the one who got on the wrong bus we all of a sudden something changed but did not let the people affected by the change know. I had to get off that bus to get on another and sit separately from my group. I am very dissatisfied for how that went. It seems like nothing was organized on my part when it came to my transportation. They did not make sure that they have everything on their end handled this morning before I checked in. This was very frustrating to me because when I spend my money I want to get what I purchased. I did not purchase musical chairs etc..
