Eight trips to Hawaii and this was our favorite excursion! - Of all the excursions we’ve taken on our multiple trips to Hawaii, this was our favorite! The performances and presentations within each island area were fantastic. Even our drive there with driver Georgia was a great experience as she provided a narrative of each area we drove through. The lunchtime buffet was the only part we weren’t happy with due to the price for an extremely limited selection of food.

A must see for culture - Fabulous portrayal of island history. We did the full package. Buffet lunch, Ambassador entry/tour, luau, show. Worth the extra cost. This is a must visit event.

Enjoyable experience, Make sure you get a tour guide - We visited the PCC using our Oahu Go City Pass. We enjoyed the center once we figured out how it worked best. We saw many people being guided by guides in purple hawaiian clothing and we felt out of place trying to figure out where to go and how best to do the activities. We finally ended up back by the entrance where there is a white tent where tour guides gather groups to tour around the center. We found out our ticket did not include a guide but we could upgrade for $25 each. I really wish the guy at the ticket booth had explained that so we could have upgraded right away and not spent the first hour confused. Once we had a guide and were put in a group it was so much better. We enjoyed all of the sites and our guide Savan was amazing. He was charismatic and took us to the shows and activities that were the best use of our time there. He made it a great day

You should go - It’s a good time if you are in the north shore of Oahu.

The Polynesian Culture Center is a must on any trip to Oahu - The Polynesian Culture Center is on the opposite side of the island from Waikiki so it’s a very long ways away. However, the PCC does provide roundtrip transportation at a nominal fee. Upon arriving at the facility there is a long walkway with shops and restaurants. For any actual meal it is best to eat here as the F&B facilities in the park are limited. The PCC is divided into different areas to represent all of the different Polynesian nations. Each nation will have shows and hands on activities that are fun and entertaining. They also have a movie about fire dancers and boat rides. Or if your lore active you can row a real Hawaiian canoe. All of the staff were super friendly and inviting.

Exploring our Polynesian culture with grandchildren - We took our 12 yr old grand dgt here for the first time to Hawaii. This was one of her highlights of her trip to Oahu. She enjoyed the interaction with the hosts from the different islands: playing many different games and making crafts/weaving. We stayed from opening to closing!
