Fun experience! - Was a super fun tour. Johnny was fun and informative. We enjoyed learning about local culture and history and Hawaiian language. His recommendations on food and shopping spots was much appreciated. Despite sitting in traffic because of road construction he kept us all engaged. Never having done a tour we didn’t know what to expect but we’re very happy! Thank you Johnny!

Great driver/guide but bus needs an upgrade - Took this tour with Rob C as the tour guide and bus driver on 5-30 for the Circle of Oahu tour and he was quite funny and helpful with reccomendations for those visiting the first time. The stops were a bit short but that's expected when covering such a large area, stopped for lunch and he helped with the orders and so that we avoid the wait time. Also stopped at plenty of local shops for souvenirs and snacks. The one thing I'd like to pinpoint to the tour company is the bus: please see if it can be upgraded or a new one can be purchased as it was pretty old and the AC kept on stopping working for those in the back which did damp the experience somewhat. Hope this will be done for the sake of future visitors.

Wonderful and amazing experience - My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful time on this tour. Tour guide was absolutely amazing very informative and a lot of fun. Our tour guide,Johnny engaged with everybody at all times on the tour bus while also explaining the history of the island and all the sites and made the best a lot of fun and he was very welcoming. Would definitely recommend this.

Good time with an island time start - Johnny did a great job of learning everyone’s names and where they were visiting from. He was knowledgeable about the history of the islands, and he taught us how Hawaii is related to other parts of the world. The only downfalls would be that we were picked up late (also make sure you go BEHIND the Hyatt and not to the main entrance), and some of the stops were a little short. Otherwise I definitely recommend this tour for adults and families.

Circle island tour ohua - Bus was an hour late! The overflow bus was there waiting for direction. The owner showed up with his bus and was not informative as to why the bus was so late. The bus had NO air! Apparently it needed freon according to the driver. The microphone quit working. Driver said he needed to charge it. At 1 stop everyone was waiting at the bus for the driver. He was getting food and took an additional 20 minutes while we waited. Could not hear the driver talking most of the day even with the microphone when it worked. Driver made a few tasteless jokes that really should not have been said with children on the bus. Driver was on his phone several times while driving. Could not stay in his lane. Was very short with answers when questions were asked. Tour guide not friendly with the group or keep us informed. It was NOT a great day! I have taken this tour in the past and this was the worst! Will not book with ultimate tours again.

A bit disappointed - A bit disappointed. Missed stops and sights advertised on the schedule. Eg didn’t stop at the bakery or temple, which we were looking forward to. Never saw the crouching lion or waterfalls as advertised we would. Didn’t learn much about the culture or history either from the tour guide. Trip was much shorter than advertised which may be why we missed stops on the schedule. Unsure if touring on a Sunday made a difference as maybe not the regular staff doing the tours. If we had of known the schedule wasn’t as advertised we would have booked another tour provider. We received no notification of changes .

Could have been better - Good size van (people mover) not a giant bus. But it had old seats were torn and uncomfortable. Armrest needed repair. Musty smell. Poor air conditioning. Guide was quiet. Offered a few fun facts but no real history or stories. Failed to point out and explain some good sight seeing locations for example the Makapu'u Lighthouse built in 1909 and the trail. Definitely a great hike with striking views. Another missed opportunity was Pele's chair. I definitely feel like they over sold and under delivered in the tour. It is not something I would ever do again with this company.

Save yourselves - Get a car for the day for less. Save yourself from a forced 10hr experience in a prisoner bus with cockroaches. They don't specify which bus you have to catch either, they use whatever they want and don't tell you the name of the bus amongst tens of buses every hr. If you want history, they don't really tell you much either. They'll point to some buildings of rich people along the ride and just stop at sights. Tour guide was a weasel as well begging for great reviews and tips. At one stop they"ll say it's going to get cash only on the other side of the island, but ATM we stopped at was broken. After barely having enough for a lunch meal that you have to pay cash directly to them, we were left with one dollar. Driver even did the pity plea during the ride that as a bus driver, their boss doesn't pay them that much and said tips are appreciated. Driver did the job, so we tried to give the last dollar we had to which he snapped and got real petty by throwing it back.
