Good way to see the island without having to drive yourself - After reading some mixed reviews here on TA, I was a bit skeptical but a friend who was here a few months ago recommended it. What a fun day we had seeing the most beautiful beaches, checking out turtles, eating some nice food and learning cool & interesting things about Hawaii. Johnny was all that you wanted a guide to be, he kept the day moving along and made it fun for a long but relaxing day. Yes, the beginning at the gathering point is a bit chaotic and I was surprised things started late when everyone of us made sure to be there on time, of not early to the meeting point.

Rainy day in Oahu - Dirk was a great guide but the weather wasn’t. The tour touched some great locations but we didn’t stop at the beach where the turtles can be seen due to the rainy weather.

Fun - Our tour guide, jhonny, was funny and my family had fun, besides the rain. Overall had a good time..

entertaining tour - Cousin Johnny was amazing. He made the tour so much fun. He treated everyone like family. Would definitely recommend.

Ice cream Dole like no other - It’s an amazing experience! You cannot missed the ice cream! It will be the most amazing thing you can try on earth! The lines are just convenient so you don’t waste time, the shop has incredible souvenirs!

Great tour & tour guide - A great tour with a good humerous, informative tour guide/driver called Dirk. 1st couple of stops at lookout points, the views were beautiful. Coffee plantation disappointing no talk/ explanation about the coffee only had the option of tasting 1 shot of coffee. Nut farm was ok. You were able to sample all the different flavourd nuts. That was it. Pineapple stop, disappointing no time to get on the train over an hours wait & the Pineapple Maze was closed. The tour was adapted because of the rain, which driver/tour guide Dirk adapted well. Overall, Dirk was a great informative tour guide.

Great experience - highly recommended - The tour was great, many things to see and do and experience. Our Tour Guide Johnny was exceptional and helped make the tour come to life and stay fun and entertaining. The landscape, parks were of course great photo ops, but the people and small local places we stopped really gave us a feel for the island and what they are proud of. Very enjoyable and worth every penny, Great food, fruit stands etc - a must do for those who have never been to Oahu before.

This Is A Must See! - I wish we had more time on the tour! Plan to tour the Dole plantation on your own! The whipped Dole ice cream was delicious!

Tour was good overall. Surprises and disappointments. - Stops all had amazing views. And great photo shots. However, I was looking forward to visiting the Dole farms where the pineapples are grown and the Macadamian nut farms. But other than that. Enjoyed it tremendously. Mahalo

20 years of dismissing people - The only reason this gets 2 stars instead of one is because the guide Dirk was funny knowledgeable and personable. I appreciated his jokes and his happy birthday wishes to my parents. I would never book with this company again and I don’t recommend it to anyone. There’s a reason why they have offers on Groupon, because they are almost like a scam. Our reservation was on Sunday, their texts say 8:00 we get picked up, please allow 10-15 mins for drivers to arrive and they are the “AllStar” bus in front of Ross. The texts even mention please text Kentucky if it’s late. Sounds good! We arrive at 8:02 and it’s a zoo, there are about 5 buses that ALL say AllStar. Then finally someone affiliated pointed us to “the big guy” for Ultimate. (His words not mine!) I went up to him, it’s about 8:07 and he said they’ve been calling us! Yikes! Now the buses are full/have already left. I tried to calmly explain that I didn’t know which group to wait with or who to go to, since there isn’t anyone wearing vests or shirts that say the correct tour company’s name, but he kept cutting me off and interrupting me. He said things like “I’m the only black guy here!” “I’ve been doing this for 20 years!” What??? That’s outrageous and unfair and doesn’t make sense nor has anything to do with anything. I wasn’t attacking him, I was just explaining how I screwed up since he was clearly upset with us. But I don’t think it’s right to treat visitors this way, my parents were so nervous watching me struggle with someone who wasn’t being kind or compassionate. Mind you, we’re Vietnamese and my parents aren’t fluent in English but they can definitely read this man’s facial expressions and body language towards me. He shouldn’t work as part of a tour company if his attitude is so dismissive… anyhow, he said come back at 7:50 tomorrow (Monday) and we can complete the tour. That’s fine I guess, but the texts/emails upon booking should have said to come early, not at 8:00 then allow 10-15mins for drivers to arrive. And his rudeness really stressed my family out. Then guess what? We arrive at 7:45 the next day, the rude man doesn’t arrive until 8:00, then they don’t seat us on the bus until 8:10, and then the buses didn’t even leave until 8:20. Talk about inconsistent. Also, they left a family with a small child at the dole plantation (because they didn’t come back to the bus within 40 mins) so that’s not the guide’s fault since the manager approved this action, but I’m 100% sure they made 0 attempts to contact the family. That sucks. The 1hr stop at north shore beach for snorkeling looked very gross and murky, nearly no one in our group wanted to go in the water. And the dole plantation was short, not enough time to do train (2hr) or maze (45-1hr). (Lol maybe that’s what the family with small child went to do!) Everything else was just gift shops.. some cool beach photo ops. But I think another company would be more worth your 9 hours around the island. Try to do Waimea waterfalls or Byodo temple, this one didn’t have it. Maybe I just hated it because of my initial interaction with Big Guy from the very start haha.
