We hit gold with private tour with Shamus! - What a great tour! So glad we chose to go with Shamus and the private tour option. Shamus was not only informative and full of great information about this beautiful island, but customized our trip tailored to us with personal touches and private access visits to off beaten path places . He made us feel taken care of and comfortable so we could enjoy the sites and have fun. Already referred him to others!

Best private tour - Shamus is the best! He is so thoughtful and knowledgeable! Every place we passed he knew the history, he also took us to the best garlic shrimp place! And our special tour partner Sandy also gave us an unforgettable experience! We really enjoyed it.

The most amazing day! - From start to finish the tour was incredible. It was so well organised. Our guide Seamus was so friendly, knowledgeable, and made our day so relaxing and stress-free. The tour itself had everything we could’ve asked for. Swimming at Waimea falls, and swimming with turtles were the highlights. Lunch was absolutely delicious!! There was absolutely no time pressure or rushing from stop to stop, we were able to do the day at our own pace which was lovely. We had such a great time and cannot thank Seamus enough for a wonderful day!

Memorable trip with family! - We booked the North Shore / Waimea, Falls Day & Swim Swim with Turtles trip. Our tour guide (Seamus) and tour guide pet companion (Sandy) were AMAZING! First, we didn't get to experience the Waimea Falls or swim with the turtles because it rained so much the night before AND of course for the safety of all (mother nature, staff and guests) they had to close access to that area. It was a bummer BUT Seamus and Sandy truly made our day such a BLAST! We could tell that Seamus truly loves his career. We learned and saw so much about the history, culture and people of Hawaii! We look forward to when we can return to Hawaii and book another trip with Seamus and Sandy!!!!! Don't just book a trip with just any company, BOOK a trip with a company that TREATS you just like FAMILY!

North Shore/Waimea Falls- Private Tour - A well spent day. We were a family of 3. We booked the private SUV with Seamus as our tour guide. He was prompt and professional from the start. We expressed not wanting to go to the coffee plantation bc we had been on such tours in other places. He then offered us a stop at a private chocolate farm they had access too. The owner was gracious and let us in early in the am and it was so quaint and the chocolate was outstanding. They only sell for themselves and you can order from them directly. It was a very nice option to be offered due to their personal relationship. We were very happy were able to purchase fresh chocolate:) Next was Waimea which was informative and Seamus provided us with interesting information. Off to the North Shore to swim at Turtle Bay. Fun and relaxing as the turtles popped their heads up in the water. Being mindful to give the turtles space and not encroach upon them. Seamus took us to two local food trucks and we had lunch in the park. After 8 hours I wished the day could have been longer. It was so nice to be on our own time, at our own pace and Seamus was so accommodating. He provided us with beach chairs and water goggles for Turtle Bay. On our way home I asked if it was possible to stop somewhere for an Iced Drink. No problem ,we stopped at the coffee plantation take out shop on the way back, so we did get to taste the coffee anyway. Seamus was able to tell us so much about the activities provided for the locals in the city of Honolulu as well. We would book a private tour again with this company if going back and explore other parts of the island. Mahalo, Seamus, for being a welcoming host.

A day to remember… - What a special day!!! From booking and communications with the guide to the drop off - a first rate experience that I will remember long after leaving the island. He took full advantage of the travel time to help us appreciate and understand the activities ahead. Seamus is a very knowledgeable and engaging guide. He was most accommodating and orchestrated a wonderful day tour. The Sugar Mill was a great start in the Waimea Valley - we saw how they produced their award winning chocolate and coffees … and got to sample each. Our hike into Waimea Falls through the botanical life garden in the State Park was leisurely and interesting as he explained the various displays and introduced us to the local artisans and docents. The Falls swim was wonderful and he took pictures for us. There are washrooms and changing facilities on site. We headed into Haliwia We picked up ice cold beer at the 7/11 and was the perfect complement to delicious lunch was as promised at Jenny’s Shrimp truck. The Hawaiian Green Sea turtle swim was a highlight. He provided excellent equipment for us to use in the area of th3 beach he took us to. It was where the turtles feed on algae and plants that are unique to Oahu - they come ashore to rest and take in the sun to metabolize their meal. He and other guides were very protective of 5he site and made sure that we and others understood how to respect the experience and the turtles. If you are visiting Honolulu - don’t miss this opportunity!!!
