Excellent luau experience for family - Decided this year to take the family to Hawaii for Spring Break. We are a family of 5 (2 high school girls and a 5th grade boy). Since we rented a condo for the week at the Marriott Ko Olina (beautiful resort) in Kapolei we decided not to island hop and fully experience Oahu. One of the items on our agenda was to attend a luau. There are many different luaus on the island so choosing a good one took some homework on my part. We saw a small part of the Fia Fia Luau from a distance at our hotel and were not impressed but heard positive reviews about Toa Luau in Waimea Valley and the Mauka Warriors Luau in Kapolei. We eventually decided on Mauka since it's reviews were high and people mentioned it's great for school aged kids. Turns out the reviews we heard were spot on. Our family had a great time and enjoyed the food selection and the many different stations showcasing polynesian culture. Our package included drinks for the adults and kids which also included the shaved ice station which my son enjoyed quite a bit. As for the show - it was very entertaining and was even able to keep my high school girls off their phones for the entirety. I would definitely recommend this luau to anyone visiting that wants to have an entertaining evening that will be one of the highlights of your trip.

Mo’i Package - Worth the Upgrade!! - Package: Mo'i Package-No Transportation Party: 2 -Adults This experience was definitely a highlight of our trip to Oahu! All of the staff was extremely friendly & helpful. We drove ourselves & had no issues parking (our Apple Maps did start taking us to the wrong location, but I noticed it in time & put Crater Adventure Park in & it corrected it.) Parking was free as well. We arrived around 4:50 - they opened the area up around 5:30. You will receive your lei, grab a drink, and someone will escort you to your table. From there, the area has many free activities to enjoy. We wish we would’ve brought cash for tips, but they do have Venmo as well for each of the demonstration areas. We highly recommend the Mo’i package and feel it was 100% worth it for the upgraded view and first call for the buffet!

Most memorable experience for all ages - Everything about this experience made our trip more memorable. I’m so happy my boyfriend and I ended our trip to Hawaii by booking this luau. This event would appeal to all ages! It was a great way to appreciate the culture with so many activities and ways to learn from the staff. Be prepared to eat! The buffet is all you can eat and everything is so delicious! I would do it all over again!

100% entertainment. - Everything was amazing. Highly recommend this Luau. Staff was always friendly, smiling and made everyone feel welcome. Food was very good & there was no shortage of options. The show was amazing and very entertaining. The emcee did a great job of entertaining and keeping everyone engaged. I would do this Luau again. We did upgrade our seats and it was worth it. The view was fantastic and you could feel the heat from the fire show. We had a great evening and stayed until the very end.

Canceled last minute for “rain” - I was honestly very disappointed. I booked this luau with a group of friends and we were very excited to do it and we had a limited amount of time in Oahu. We arrived promptly at 5 PM in a $70 Lyft ride from Waikiki only to be told at the door that the Luau was canceled due to rain. It had rained lightly while we were in the cab and we were a little nervous but the website said rain or shine. We were surprised because it was just lightly drizzling and they were cancelling it very last minute as people were actively arriving after spending a lot of time to get there since it’s pretty far. If you’re going to cancel due to weather, the courtesy should be to cancel at least an hour before the event— but I’m still confused why it was canceled since the rain wasn’t that hard and by the time we called another Lyft to leave, it had completely stopped. Though they are issuing refunds, we had to spend $50-70 each way on cab rides so it was a huge waste.

Cancelled at the last minute - They cancelled 30 minutes after the scheduled meeting time because of weather. The weather was perfect. Some people that were waiting for the bus never received the cancelation notice

It was cancelled at the... - It was cancelled at the last minute (after the start time) for bad weather (it was barely raining). We spent $80 to Uber there and back. The ad says the luau will happen "rain or shine" - clearly not true.
