Great option for budget travel around Oahu - A great hop on/hop off service that goes to some places that the other companies don’t- like the Bishop Museum which is a must see in Oahu.

Recommended for rare trolleys and even for first-timers to Honolulu! - It was my first time in Honolulu and I was worried, but the trolley ride made my trip smoother. We were also very happy to be able to use it as a sightseeing bus where we couldn’t get there on foot! Every driver was friendly and polite. Especially the driver, DUDE Jr., who not only took us to many places of interest, but also recommended spots, taking pictures and teaching us about history, it was a truly amazing trip! Even during the ride, they talked to me and explained in Japanese, which made me feel warm. Thank you for the wonderful encounter! If I go to Honolulu again, I would love to use it.

Good service. Extremely harsh ride. STOP THE MUSIC! - The service offers many different routes, and a wide variety of locations that it stops at. On all of our rides, the narration was in English, which was expected for a tour in an American state. The trolleys departed and arrived at the stops on schedule. The LeaLea staff at the Royal Hawaiian departure point were very knowledgeable and helpful. The drivers were courteous and knowledgeable. One complaint is the trolley vehicle itself. The seats are a hard wooden bench, which is quaint, but offer no cushioning for bumps. The pavement in Oahu is very good, but the trolley feels like there is no shock absorbers in the suspension. Every little bump in the pavement results in a surprisingly firm bang to the passengers, and this bang is also very loud. After a two-hour ride, we were glad to get off. Another complaint is the loud music, which seems to be chosen by the driver. On one ride, we were forced to listen to rap music. THERE IS NO NEED TO HAVE MUSIC BLASTING AT THE CUSTOMERS!
