Great walking tour of downtown Hawaii - Mary did a great job with giving us a great history of the kingdom of Hawaii, the development of Honolulu as its capital, the architecture in the downtown area, and the revival of the language and heritage in 1970

Awesome experience - Had an amazing time on the walking tour. Our guide was great. Wear comfortable walking shoes, dress for the weather and you can bring a water bottle since you don’t go inside. I suggest that if your driving park at the parking garage 301 S. Vineyard St it’s $4 for 2hr parking and just a short walk to King Kamehameha Statue. Iolani Palace has a gift shop on the grounds where you can purchase tickets and merchandise. Just inside the courtyard to left of the door is a penny press machine (.51) four designs. Booking the tour through here I plan $5 per adult. But if you google free Hawaii tours. It will take you directly to the website where it’s free. I sure hope our tour guide receives a portion of the money I paid. FYI the guides do accepts tips. Well worth it

Our guide Susan is awesome, very knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. All significant locations are in a small area, so there is not much walking involved.
