Disappointed it wasn't a traditional luau - I was disappointed that this was not a traditional luau experience. While the concept is interesting..it explores the history of music in Hawaii and how Hawaiian music has been influenced by pop over the decades, it wasn’t what I was expecting. If you’re simply looking for a fun night out, this may fit the bill. However, I was hoping for an authentic luau and did not anticipate such a long segment of Elvis and Michael Jackson covers (8-10 full-length songs) The meal was very average. The highlight of the evening was the hula dance tutorial, which was genuinely fun and memorable. Still, overall, the experience didn’t align with my expectations. In hindsight, the name may have hinted at a stronger rock influence, but the website didn’t make that clear, so I assumed it was just a playful title. Ultimately, this felt more like an Elvis and Michael Jackson tribute show with a few Hawaiian elements at the beginning and end, rather than a true Hawaiian luau.

Rock a hula - The food was horrible, the show was great. Just go for the show. Save yourself some money. The waiter sucked, Bill, never asked us if we wanted a drink
