• Puaʻena Point Beach Park - Aloha! Specializing in beginner surf lessons on Oahu’s North Shore, we guarantee you’ll stand up and ride waves on your first day!

The adventure begins at Puaena Point Beach Park, a stunning beach with breathtaking views, family-friendly atmosphere, and turtles galore. You’ll be equipped with the right gear, including a surfboard, leash, and rashguard. Important surfing safety and etiquette will be taught, followed by a land demonstration on paddling and standing up on your surfboard, typically taking 15-20 minutes.

Finally, everyone will head into the surf to catch some waves. A 1.5-2 hour session is ideal for learning to surf, allowing you to catch numerous waves and gain a deeper understanding of paddling, riding your surfboard, and the waves themselves.

You’ll be guided by one of our local professional surfing instructors, who spend all their time in the ocean and have taught people of all ages from around the globe how to surf. They ensure you have the right gear for success, feel safe and confident, and have a fantastic time catching plenty of waves!

Our surf lessons are crafted to ensure they are as safe, enjoyable, and successful as possible for participants. Surfing is our passion, and we are eager to share it with the world. What sets us apart in the area is our extensive experience in the ocean and our deep understanding of the waves where we operate.

While surfing is enjoyable, it can become dangerous quickly. Having an instructor who dedicates their life to surfing, rather than someone who does it part-time for fun, can make the difference between getting injured or having a less-than-great first experience. Additionally, all our instructors are CPR and AED certified.

We aim to be a highlight of your time in Hawaii. We take great pride in living here and wish to share it with you through surfing.
