Viator booking has failed us. - My family arrived at the pier at 5:40 AM as instructed, with confirmation in hand, but no boat or Viator representative showed up. After waiting until 6:20 AM, the tour operator told us no booking existed and the tour would not run. Viator later claimed the booking had been sent and acknowledged by the operator but could not provide written proof, and the operator denied responsibility. Despite follow-up emails, Viator never responded until a week later. We were offered only a refund, which does not cover transportation costs, lost vacation time, or disappointment. This is the second time a Viator booking has failed us, raising concerns about reliability. We were also told the photos on Viator’s listing do not match the actual boat, adding to the confusion. Overall, it was a very frustrating and poorly handled experience.
