Great day out - This tour far exceeded all my expecations. Kirt (or Girt as we called him affectionately - its an Autralian joke) was the best tour guide anyone could ever hope for. He was kind, always attentive and very considerate. Even though we were a small group, he made us all feel welcome by sharing funny stories as well as offering tips for better photos. We never felt hurried or rushed and had a lovely time driving to some amazing locations for some fabulous views. His knowledge of the local area is impressive and he was completely okay about us going over our finish time (of 5 hrs) a bit. The day went so fast! He was also excellent at spotting wildlife - I saw the turtle but couldnt get my camera to it fast enough! Cant recommend it highly enough!

Amazing Photography tour and more! - 📸 Oahu Photography Adventure! 🌺
What an incredible day exploring the island with a professional photographer Andrew as our guide! He took us to breathtaking lookouts and even a hidden beach off the beaten path. We learned some great photo tips, captured stunning shots, and got beautiful pictures taken too. Ivan and I had such a wonderful time soaking in Oahu’s beauty through a different lens — literally! 🌊🌴✨
Highly recommended! Andrew takes stunning photos, patient, and passionate about Hawaiian culture and history. A safe driver too. His new Mercedes van is convenient. Pick up and drop off was part of the tour. Free Malasadas too!

Local knowledge and photo expertise make this a must do for all photography lovers! - Kurt was an incredible guide for our Colours of Hawaii private tour. He was generous with both his time and his knowledge - we felt like we got a photography tour and a Hawaii 'sights and sounds' tour all in one.
Kurt's photography knowledge is fantastic. As a photographer by trade, I came to the tour more interested in having a locations guide, and yet I still took away new ideas and shooting tips. My sister who was on the tour with me has no photography knowledge and was shooting with a borrowed camera and her phone. She loved the easy to apply tips Kurt gave her and used them throughout the rest of our holiday!
Kurt showed us a great variety of locations, so we felt we got a taste of what Hawaii has to offer outside of the main tourist areas of Waikiki. I would definitely recommend Oahu Photo Tours to anyone looking for a great way to see and photograph more of Hawaii during their holiday!

Informative and fun for the non-photogs too! - My sister booked this trip and I went along to keep her company. Kurt our guide was terrific, including me (non photographer) and sharing tips and tricks I used for the rest of our trip! He gave us great insights into Hawaii, the locations were great and a lot of laughs along the way.

a great couples adventure with sweet pics! - We had a wonderful time out with Curt! The small group allowed us to become a little family for the day. Curt had a super positive vibe, and we enjoyed talking with him as we cruised around the island in a comfy van. He showed us some of the best spots of Oahu and took some great pics of us because, let’s be honest, we can only get so much in a selfie. I highly recommend. Mahalo, Curt. Worth Every Penny - Mac was an amazing guide!! He brought great vibes, knew wonderful facts about the island, and showed us breathtaking sights! This tour is worth every penny. A definite must-do as a family, couple, or even a solo traveler!

Island Tour Extraordinaire! - We loved being part of a small group—it made the experience more personal and gave us the chance to take amazing one-on-one photos. Andrew is an incredible tour guide: super knowledgeable about the islands’ history, full of great camera tips and wildlife facts (we especially loved his bird knowledge!). Every place he took us was absolutely breathtaking! Thanks to him, we have so many beautiful photos to remember our honeymoon, and with our newly found camera skills, we can’t wait to capture even more memories. Thanks again, Andrew!
